Keith Urban joined forces with Thando Sikwila for a show-stopping duet of an Adele hit during the season finale of The Voice Australia.
The Voice finalist and her coach delivered an impressive performance of Adele’s “Oh My God,” a track from the chart-topping hitmaker’s latest project, 30.
The performance, which began with the two singers atop a platform center stage, feature Thando putting her powerhouse vocals on full display as Urban joined her on vocals and shredding on the electric guitar.
While Thando did make The Voice Australia’s Top 4, she ultimately did not win the competition as Team Rita Ora’s Sonia Kruger was crowned the winner.

The performance comes after Sikwila brought him to tears with her emotional story ahead of The Voice Australia’s grand finale during Urban’s last mentoring session with The Voice finalist.
Urban was “reduced to tears” after witnessing an unforgettable moment between Thando Sikwila and her young child.
“You talk so much about you being a mom and a performer, so I thought I would give you a little surprise,” Urban said, before Thando’s daughter, Charlie, came running into the room to give her mom a big hug.
Thando then admitted that “seeing her [daughter] run in was just a really good way to bookend this experience because it’s been about her the whole time, but [she] hasn’t been able to share any of those moments with her”.
As Urban watched on, Thando rehearsed for her performance while holding Charlie in her arms. Thando was tasked by Urban to sing Andra Day’s “Rise Up” during the finale aside from their duet together.

The finalist then began to sing the song to her daughter and Urban was brought to tears from the precious moment.
“Mummy, I feel like you’re going to sing,” Charlie asked her mother, Thando, as the song came to a close, to which Thando replied, “Yes, mommy was singing for you.”
“In that moment, having Charlie in my arms and singing it to her and having that drive this performance, it just felt like there was this unspoken understanding of what that moment meant for the both of us,” Thando said.
Urban, wiping tears from his eyes, told the finalist that she “reduced [him] to tears,” before thanking her for the beautiful moment they shared.
“I think it’s all about family and love,” Urban told Thando, as she held her daughter in her arms. “I have total faith in you, I’m honored that you chose me. Thank you so much.”
Thando later shared, “It was the best moment that I’ve had on this show, I knew that it is very possible to have it all.”
Keith Urban also performed his single “Nightfalls” during the Season finale of The Voice Australia, which you can watch below.
