Post Malone raised funds for those affected by the Texas storms on Sunday, March 21 during the We’re Texas fundraiser, which was organized by Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey.
Performing alongside Dwight Yoakam’s band, the Texas native performed a cover of Sturgill Simpson’s “You Can Have The Crown,” a track from Simpson’s 2013 debut album, High Top Mountain.
Earlier in the show, the singer also gave a shocking cover of Brad Paisley’s No. 1 hit, “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” the third single from Paisley’s album, Part II, which became Paisley’s third No. 1 hit. The track was co-written by Paisley alongside Frank Rogers.
