Luke Combs shared an unreleased new song, that fans have dubbed “Days Like These.”

On Tuesday evening (Sept. 13), the country superstar took to his TikTok to share an acoustic performance clip with fans of an unreleased track that he co-wrote alongside Brent Cobb and Aaron Ratiere. The tune finds the North Carolina singing about being grateful for all that he has while detailing that fame and fortune can’t always buy happiness.

“Days like these / are worth more than gold / but they can’t be bought / and they can’t be sold / oh days like these / when the sun shines bright / feel like it’s all gonna be alright / when the sky is blue and the grass is green / how much better can it be / if I got you and you got me / we got everything we need / even if it grew on trees / money can’t buy days like these / they don’t come around as much as they ought to / so soak ’em up when they do / those days like these / they don’t get forgot / if you think it through they’re all we got / when the sky is blue and the grass is green / how much better can it be / if I got you and you got me / we got everything we need,” Combs sings on the sentimental track’s chorus.

“Even if it grew on trees / money can’t buy days like these / hell even if it grew on trees / I’d probably miss the leaves / no money can’t buy days like these / money can’t buy days like these,” Combs sings at the conclusion of the clip.

Wrote this one today with Brent Cobb and Aaron Ratiere. Loved it and thought y’all might wanna hear it. Disclaimer: This video may contain subpar guitar playing and less than desirable faces.

The tune marks Combs’ first taste of new music since the release of his much-anticipated new album, Growin’ Up, which arrived on June 22, 2022.

Growin’ Up debuted at No. 1 upon its release and features the chart-topping hit, “Doin’ This,” Combs’ current single, “The Kind Of Love We Make,” and “Outrunnin’ Your Memory,” a duet with Miranda Lambert, among several others.

The song teaser comes on the heels of the reigning CMA Entertainer Of The Year’s CMA nominations, which include Entertainer Of The Year, Male Vocalist Of The Year and Album Of The Year (Growin’ Up).

“Still surreal when I receive nominations from the @cma. Something I dreamed of for a long time. It’s a true honor to be a part of country music. Thank you to the association and the fans for making this ol’ boy’s day!”

Combs is currently in the midst of his Middle Of Somewhere Tour, which kicked off with two sold-out shows on Friday (Sept. 3) and Saturday (Sept. 4). The Middle Of Somewhere Tour continues through December and features support from Jordan Davis and special guests Lainey Wilson and Morgan Wade on select dates.
