WATCH: Luke Bryan Kicked In The Head During Concert After Singer Jumps Off-Stage To Move Smoke Machine

Luke Bryan’s Proud To Be Right Here Tour is officially in full swing, and the country music megastar has specific requirements on how he would like his production team to run his shows.

While many A-listers demand their greenrooms to be stocked to the brim in delightful treats…the “Play It Again” singer requests no fog machines near him during the show, as it tends to affect his vocal cords. On Friday, September 24, at his concert in Phoenix, Arizona at AK-Chin Pavilion – the Georgia native and reigning ACM Entertainer Of The Year jumped off the stage in the middle of his set to remove the massive machine.

Following close behind him, was his stage manager, running to the rescue. In the middle of the frantic task, the worried manager kicked the multi-platinum artist in the head with his foot.

Shortly after the abrupt exit from the stage, he mentioned the incident to the thousands of screaming fans that stood before him. “Smoke machines dry my sh*t out, and that smoke machine was blowing up my ass. So, I went down there to cut that machine off, and my stage manager jumped down there and kicked me in the back of my head.”

“I looked up, and I thought a speaker fell on my head,” says Bryan while putting his arm on his hip and laughing about the random situation. The video of the accident surfaced to TikTok on Monday, September 27, when a social media user uploaded the live footage and even slowed it down.

“I was there too… I liked how he told us what happened afterwards. I was in the back, so we had no clue,” shares a concert-goer in the comments. While many country music fans commented on the sudden disturbance, others did not shy away from mentioning how similar he looked like Blake Shelton in the short clip.

“I thought that was Blake Shelton until he walked away,” says a TikTok user. “Wait a SEC. Am I missing something? This looks like Blake and not Luke,” another one adds.

The phoenix concert was a star-studded affair, as rising acts Runaway June and Dylan Scott opened for the successful hitmaker. The Proud To Be Right Here Tour runs until October 28, but Bryan will be making “Waves” and holding live performances until August 2022. Tickets are currently available for purchase.
