Luke Bryan pulled a Morgan Wallen prank on the crowd during his Raised Up Right Tour date at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN on Friday evening (Aug. 19).
In the midst of the country superstar’s headlining set in East Tennessee, Bryan welcomed his tourmate Riley Green back to the stage to sing a medley of cover songs as Bryan does on every date of his Raised Up Right Tour with the support act.
During the series of cover songs, Bryan decided to honor Morgan Wallen in Wallen’s hometown by covering his chart-topping hit “Whiskey Glasses” with Green.
After Bryan and Green performed most of the tune together, Bryan decided to prank the crowd and pretended to welcome Wallen to the stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage Morgan Wallen,” Bryan joked as the crowd erupted into a roaring applause only to find out that the “You Proof” singer wasn’t actually there.

“Morgan is not here!” Bryan revealed to the audience. Green then questioned Bryan’s decision to pull a Morgan Wallen prank on a crowd in East Tennessee, where Wallen was born and raised.
“Why would you do that to yourself?” Green asked Bryan, who was standing beside him on stage laughing. Green later joined in on the prank and told the crowd, “I know Morgan Wallen’s not here, but I know who is here Blake Shelton everybody.”

“Alright ladies, I’m pretty sure 30% of the crowd just pissed in their pants,” Bryan said laughing hysterically.
Riley Green kept the joke going by shouting, “I’ll tell you what, Jason Aldean everybody.” However, the crowd did not even blink an eye over that one as they just knew it was just a continuation of the prank Bryan started.
