Lee Brice shared an unforgettable moment with his 9-year-old son Ryker Mobley Brice on stage during a recent concert in Tennessee.
On Saturday (Aug. 27), Brice brought his son Ryker out on stage in the midst of his headlining set in Chattanooga, TN, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium to sing a duet of his chart-topping hit, “Boy.”
Luckily, a fan documented the precious father/son moment and shared a clip on TikTok.
“Amazing show last night in Chattanooga! Lee Brice is the most genuine, kind soul. This is his son blowing the crowd away singing Boy,” the fan captioned the video.

In the clip, Brice is seen strumming his acoustic guitar while standing alongside his son Ryker, who is holding the microphone singing the father/son anthem. The crowd immediately erupted into a roaring applause once Ryker began to sing the tune.
“Boy, you’re gonna know it all / You’ll think you’re ten feet tall / And run like you’re bulletproof / And total a car or two / Boy, you’re gonna hate this town / Wish you could burn it down / That fire in your eyes is twenty counties wide / But boy, you’re gonna love seventeen / And boy, you’ll do some stupid things,” Brice’s son sings.
This isn’t the first time Brice has shared the stage with his son and it likely won’t the last as the country hitmaker recently took to social media to share a photo alongside his son, welcoming him as “the newest member of the #LabelMeProudTour ;).”
Co-written by Nicolle Galyon and Jon Nite, “Boy” was released in June of 2017 as the lead single from Brice’s self-titled fourth studio album. The tune serves as a tribute to the special bond that a father shares with his son.
“The song is great, but the song also reminded me of my daddy. And now, as a daddy, I realize how hard he was trying to teach me things that he wanted me to learn for me, not for him,” Brice explained of the tune. (per The Boot) “He wanted me to learn these things so that I could be ahead in life, so that I could be ahead in life in joy, and so I could be ahead in life at not having to work so hard and learn all these lessons the hard way. So now I’m trying to teach my kids, and they aren’t listening to me. They don’t know that I’m trying to help — [that] it’s all about them. So the connection between my daddy and myself, and now myself and my sons, that is what makes “Boy,” the song, so special.”
The music video for “Boy,” which was released in May of 2017, also features Ryker, his brother Takoda and Brice’s wife Sara, who was pregnant at the time with their daughter, Trulee, at the time.
Directed by Ryan “Spidy” Smith, the video features home footage of Brice’s father, Brice and his two boys intertwined with performance clips.
“We wanted to make ‘Boy’ our first single [from the project] for a couple of reasons,” Lee said at the time of the video’s release. “First, Sara and I have two sons, Takoda and Ryker. This song is a tribute to them; it’s my way of saying how proud I am to be their dad. The second reason is because, coincidentally, we have a daughter on the way in a couple of weeks and we wanted to share this song for our boys before she arrived.”
Lee Brice is currently in the midst of his Label Me Proud Tour. The tour will resume on Thursday, September 8 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
