Kane Brown has officially released his highly anticipated brand-new collaboration, “Thank God,” featuring his beautiful wife, Katelyn. In celebration of the fresh release, the country music artist is also debuting the accompanying video for the romantic track.

Co-written by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins, this spiritually-driven duet shines a light on the married couple’s special bond as they sing their gratitude for one another. Awestruck over how they’ve managed to find their way into each other’s lives for the better, Brown and his wife can’t help but believe a higher power had something to do with it.

Brown takes the lead with the song’s first verse before fans get to hear Katelyn’s stunning vocals for the first time during the second verse. The married couple then unites on the chorus, showcasing a flawless blend of beautiful harmony.

“So, thank God / I get to wake up by your side and thank God / Your hand fits perfectly in mine / And thank God / You loved me when you didn’t have to / But you did and you do and he knew / Thank God for giving me you / Oh, yeah, thank God / Thank God for giving me you (Oh, yeah-yeah, yeah),” the pair sing throughout the chorus of the ballad.

Sonically, “Thank God” features a shaker and the delicate sounds of picking acoustic guitar combined with a gentle slap beat. The accompaniment avoids drowning out The Browns’ vocals and instead puts them front and center as they share their undeniable and long-awaited musical chemistry with the world.

As for the music video, Brown and his wife, who was actively pursuing a solo career as an R&B/pop artist before meeting her husband, also star together, bringing their sizzling romance to life for all to see in the dreamy clip.

Directed by Alex Alvga and filmed in Hawaii, the clip opens up with the pair traveling in their vehicle side by side before they spend time together in what looks to be a dream vacation. Scenes capture the lovebirds lying down on a blanket outdoors, and being playful with each other on a lush trail in a bamboo forest. They relax while making memories together by slow dancing, swimming, and camping outdoors.

Before releasing the video and song, Brown, who recently extended his Drunk Or Dreaming tour into 2023, took to social media to tease a snippet of “Thank God” with his more than 3 million Instagram followers. The preview shows The Browns in-studio laying down a track for the single.

“First teaser (Thank God) with my wife @katelynbrown. So excited,” Brown captioned the clip on Sunday (Sept. 4) with a heart and a fire emoji.

The following day, Brown shared a few behind-the-scenes shots from his music video shoot.

“Thank God behind the scene photos. The video looks like a movie!” Brown wrote alongside the post.

“Thank God,” which is set to impact country radio on Monday (Sept. 12), was produced by Dan Huff. The tune is one of 17 that are featured on Brown’s just released new album, Different Man, which arrived on Friday, (Sept. 9).

The project features a whopping 17 songs, including the duet with his wife as well as a collaboration with country superstar Blake Shelton. The album also includes his latest single, “Like I Love Country Music,” plus previously released tracks “Grand,” “One Mississippi,” “Whiskey Sour,” and “Leave You Alone.”

“I’m most excited, when it comes to releasing this new project, for people to see how much I’ve grown as an artist,” Brown said of Different Man.

Different Man follows Brown’s second studio album, 2018’s Experiment. In August of 2020, Brown released his ACM-nominated EP, Mixtape Vol. 1, which included several hit singles such as “Cool Again,” “Worldwide Beautiful” “Worship You” and his Top 40 radio single, “Be Like That” featuring Khalid and Swae Lee.

Additionally, Brown will soon embark on the international leg of his Drunk or Dreaming Tour, which features support from Restless Road, Jessie James Decker, Blanco Brown and Chris Lane on select dates and kicks off on September 17 in Melbourne, Australia. The trek will also visit Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, and Europe. The Drunk or Dreaming Tour marks Brown’s first time touring in Australia and New Zealand, and his long-awaited return to Canada and Europe.

Furthermore, Brown recently announced the U.S. leg of his Drunk or Dreaming Tour, which features support from Dustin Lynch, Gabby Barrett and LOCASH.

The U.S. leg of the tour will kick off in Grand Rapids, MI on March 16, 2023, and will visit 23 cities throughout the United States before wrapping up in Greenwood Village, CO at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
