Kane Brown stunned with a raw performance of a massive country hit.

The country superstar shocked the crowd during a recent show on his highly-successful Blessed And Free Tour in Denver, Colorado on October 10 with a stunning a cappella rendition of a chart-topping Blake Shelton hit.

“So, I always put a mashup in my set every year just to have fun. You know I got discovered off covers, right? So before we get into it, y’all care if I sing a cappella for you today?” Brown said before covering Shelton’s hit, sending the crowd into a screaming frenzy. “Well, I need y’alls help of course. We got any Blake Shelton fans in here tonight?”

Brown, surrounded by a blue light drenched stage, paced his massive stage as he sang “Ol’ Red” with no instrumental, truly allowing his impressive, deep baritone vocals to be put on full display.

Following his performance of “Ol’ Red,” Brown performed a medley of radio hits, including songs by Sean Kingston, Ben E King, Soulja Boy, Blackbear and more.

Watch Brown perform “Ol’ Red” below.

Co-written by Jame “Bo” Bohon alongside Don Goodman and Mark Sherrill, “Ol’ Red” is the third single from Shelton’s Self-Titled debut album.

The song was originally recorded by George Jones on his 1990 album, You Oughta Be Here With Me, and then later covered by Kenny Rogers on his 1993 album, If Only My Heart Had A Voice

Additionally, Brown previously covered “Ol’ Red” alongside Restless Road as part of CMT’s Campfire Sessions. The country superstar and rising trio covered the popular Shelton song during an impressive fireside performance in early July. The cover highlighted Brown’s southern drawl while Restless Road flawlessly harmonized with the country superstar, which served as the perfect pairing.

“I used to love singing this song man, I still love singing this song,” Brown previously shared during the Campfire Sessions episode. “I used to love, love singing this song.

Brown is currently in the midst of his massive 35-date headlining Blessed And Free Tour, which kicked off on October 1 in Sacramento and will visit all 29 NBA basketball arenas throughout 2021 and 2022, marking the first country artist in history to headline every NBA basketball arena on a single tour.
