Josh Turner shared a heartwarming music video for “Soldier’s Gift” on Friday, Nov. 12.

The country superstar is honoring those who served and are serving in the military with his just-released music video for “Soldier’s Gift.”

“The video for ‘Soldier’s Gift’ was one of the coolest shoots I’ve ever been a part of,” Turner said. “I was honored to have real life heroes featured in this video and telling this story. I made new friends that day in David, Samy, Yolanda and Bill, and took with me an even greater appreciation for all those that serve our country. Thank you to all veterans for your service.”

The heartwarming video, which features real-life veterans from the Wounded Warrior Project, stars Turner alongside several U.S. military men and women.

“It was important to me that we didn’t cast actors for the main [roles]. Both the director and I wanted this video to be authentic,” Turner explained in a press release.

The music video truly brings to life the story of a real-life soldier named Stephanie Betancourt, who thinks she’s coming home from deployment to an empty house during Christmas, but to her surprise, wounded warriors decorated her house to welcome her home in the most special way possible.

Co-written by Scooter Carusoe and Tom Douglas, “Soldier’s Gift” appears on Turner’s first-ever holiday project, King Size Manger.

“This song shares a message that I think we need in our world today,” Turner said.

King Size Manger is out now everywhere and features “Soldier’s Gift” along with 10 other tracks, including covers of holiday favorites like “Joy To The World,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” and four brand-new original songs such as “What He’s Given Me,” “Mele Kalikimaka My ‘Ohana,” and the project’s title track.

Additionally, in support of his holiday album, Turner will embark on a 16-city Holiday & The Hits Tour, culminating at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, where the album will come to life alongside Turner’s most notable hits such as “Your Man.”
