Luke Bryan surprised patrons at his Nashville bar and performed a duet with rising country singer Bobby McClendon, who often plays Lower Broadway bars.

On Sunday evening (Nov. 14), following auditions to find the next American Idol in Nashville, Bryan and fellow Idol judges, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, surprised patrons at Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge in Downtown Nashville.

Clips of their surprise appearance surfaced online (via TMZ) on Monday, Nov. 15, which found Bryan singing “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” with a full band on the small bar stage, while his cohorts, Richie & Perry, joined him on stage and danced along to the chart-topping hit in front of a massive Luke Bryan neon sign.

In a second video, also captured by a fan at the bar, Bryan was seen taking to the seated area of the bar to sing a cover of Bob Seger/Metallica’s hit “Turn The Page.” While he performed the popular tune, Bryan interacted with fans and even cheers his beer with a few near the stage.

Now, a new video has appeared online from the evening, this time a surprise duet with a Lower Broadway performer. Country singer Bobby McClendon, who shared clips that TMZ did not include within the footage they released.

McClendon posted a video to TikTok, which amassed over 24k views since its release. The clip finds McClendon and Bryan performing a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man” together on stage at Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, a moment that McClendon said “raised the #SundayFunday bar to a new high.”

“So, I’m sure you saw the leaked TMZ video of Luke Bryan and the American Idol judges crashing his bar in Nashville. What they didn’t show you is what happened afterwards,” McClendon said. The clip then cut to show he and Bryan’s duet of the popular classic rock hit.

“Thanks for singing one with me Luke Bryan,” McClendon added.

It is unclear if the trio of superstars were filming for an episode of Idol or just having some fun after a long day of auditions, however, it appears footage from their appearance may appear on the upcoming Season of Idol as they did have a film crew with them.

Well, last night raised the #SundayFunday bar to a new high. Thanks for singing one with me Luke Bryan 👏🏼 #countrymusic #nashville #americanidol #lukebryan
