It looks like Jason Aldean has traded out his career as a country artist for a job as a makeup artist. And his first client? His wife, Brittany Aldean. Well – not really, but the pair did just entertain a boatload of fans with a brand-new and hilarious makeup tutorial that, according to the couple themselves, is one we never knew we needed!

While Brittany is known for jumping on her social media pages to share her latest beauty and makeup trends, this time, while applying makeup to her face, she got help from her famous country-singing husband.

A clip posted on Brittany’s Instagram page on Tuesday (June 20), shows the lovebirds positioning themselves in a way where Aldean can’t see his wife’s face. She puts her hands behind her back while he is seated behind her. Aldean, then, threads his arms through the sides of Brittany’s makeshift jacket to make it appear as though his arms are hers.

“We’re doing my makeup by using his hands,” Brittany begins. “I’m gonna start by putting my hair up.”

The hilarity ensues when Aldean reaches for a hair tie and grabs Brittany’s hair to build a ponytail. In doing so, Brittany can’t hold back her giggles. She laughs as her husband completes his first task and applauds him with the word “Perfect.”

“I really love when my tresses are out of my face that really helps my makeup process,” Brittany narrates as Aldean tries to clear his ladylove’s hair away from the sides of her face.

Moving on, Aldean begins the process of applying makeup onto his bride’s face blindly beginning with powder, which is usually one of the final touches on the face as a way to set a full coverage look.

“We’re gonna just skip the foundation today,” Brittany notes. “We’re just gonna go for some powder.”

Aldean grabs for a small brush, rather than a powder brush, and begins to swipe the product across Brittany’s face while she tells viewers that “I like the glowy powder a lot… yep. I do love it when it’s right around my eye and sometimes in my mouth.”

Continuing with the unconventional style, Brittany tells the audience, “Now we’re gonna go for the blush,” as Aldean applies some blush onto Brittany’s eyelids. Without much guidance, other than Brittany explaining the products that are being grabbed Aldean covers his wife’s entire face with the blush before adding a second layer of makeup, caking eye shadow over the eyelids.

“We’re gonna do a really pretty eye look using multiple colors,” Brittany shares. “We’re just gonna do it with long, low strokes. Sometimes I go a little below my eye.”

“It’s called creativity,” she insists.

At one point, Aldean freestyles his work, dusting his wife’s mouth with some random cosmetics. But that’s not the most dramatic part of his masterpiece. He completes the look with a light pink lipstick that he applies generously underneath and around Brittany’s lips and across her chin, turning the application into something never-before-seen.

“Thank you, guys, for coming to my makeup class,” Brittany says, closing out the video, which includes the caption: “The makeup look you didn’t know you needed.💄”

The Aldean’s latest funny post comes after the “You Make It Easy” singer honored Brittany with a birthday tribute

“Words can’t describe how much I love and truly adore this woman,” he wrote on Instagram on Monday (June 19) in celebration of Brittany’s 36th birthday. “To say she has been a blessing in my life is a huge understatement. @brittanyaldean I love [you] to pieces and can’t imagine life without ya. I hope [you] have an amazing day because you deserve it. Thanks for being an amazing mom to our babies and being my best friend and biggest fan. Love you baby and Happy bday.”

In July, Aldean will embark on his Highway Desperado Tour, beginning with its first show at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY.
