Gabby Barrett performed her chart-topping hit “The Good Ones” on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Surrounded by a golden glow, the ACM New Female Artist Of The Year made her late night debut on Thursday, April 29 with a virtual performance of her second consecutive No. 1 single “The Good Ones.” Performing the popular track alongside a full band that includes her husband Cade Foehner, Barrett allowed her powerhouse vocals to shine.

Earlier in the show Barrett chatted with Corden, where she gave an update on her daughter Baylah May and said she is currently teething.

“The Good Ones” is a song that Barrett wrote about her “sweet husband” and she hopes you will use to “take a moment to appreciate the good ones in your life every time you hear it.” The romantic track about Foehner, who she initially met during their trek on American Idol, really highlights her love and admiration for her husband.

“When people ask me about Cade, how he’s doing or how we’re doing, I always end up saying, “oh he’s great, he’s a keeper, he’s a good one.” That’s where the song came from, appreciating what I’ve got and what he means to me,” Barrett explained about the song in a press release.

The song appears on Barrett’s record-breaking debut album, Goldmine, and is her second consecutive chart-topping single.

Additionally, the singer performed a unique rendition of the song during the 2021 ACM Awards.
