Gabby Barrett and her husband Cade Foehner are prepping for the arrival of their first child, a daughter.

In a new clip shared by Barrett on Instagram, she filmed her husband learning to change baby diapers. The couple were using a stuffed animal lamb to practice on, from what appears to be Barrett’s baby girl’s nursery room.

“Alright everybody, so we are here learning how to change diapers and Cade’s gonna take us through the process,” Barrett said.

“So, you throw them down here, you sit them down here,” Foehner explained.

“You don’t throw them down but yes,” Barrett said as she laughed.

“Put this up under there incase that you get it all over the place,” Foehner said as he placed a diaper beneath the stuffed lamb.

“Incase of surprise bathrooms, good job,” Barrett said complimented his procedure for changing diapers.

“Then you take this off, She got a little turd in there,” Foehner said.

“oh she, ew she dootied,” Barrett said.

He then proceeded to finish by joking that he always wanted to be in the Nashville finals rodeo as he quickly put the new diaper on the lamb. Barrett then laughed as she said “oh boy, alright folks and that’s how you change a diaper, we have some work to do.”

The couple are expecting their first child, a daughter, early next year in January 2021. The couple first found out about her pregnancy in May 2020.

The former American Idol contestants found their love for each other during Season 16 of the show in 2018 and just a year later the couple married in front of about 100 of their closest family and friends in Garrison, Texas at Union Springs on Saturday (Oct. 5) and now preparing for their first child as mentioned.
