Dolly Parton took a short break from her ACM Awards co-hosting duties for the live performance debut of “Big Dreams And Faded Jeans.”
Joined by fellow East Tennessee native Kelsea Ballerini, the country icon took to the ACM Awards stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Monday, March 7, to deliver a show-stopping performance of the new tune.
Solely penned by Parton, “Big Dreams And Faded Jeans” is a track that appears on Parton’s just-released album, Run, Rose Run, a project that coincides with her novel of the same name.
“So many people come to Nashville with their sack of songs,” Parton shared of the track. “Whether they’re running from anything or not, they’re running towards a future. That’s what ‘Big Dreams and Faded Jeans’ is all about. I am so pleased to finally share the first song from this exciting new album with all of you!”
