In the video, the 42-year-old country hitmaker is seen singing the chart-topping hit to his wife and their young daughters, who danced along to the heartfelt tune.

“I remember when I first heard your heartbeat / It had only been eight weeks / Standing there, starin’ at that screen / Was the first time you ever scared me,” Young sang in the opening verse of the song before going into the chorus, “I hope you look just like your momma / And love her like I do / You’ll see close to perfect patience / If you watch her every move / You can always run to daddy / You’ll always be my baby, but / Look at her, baby girl / And you’ll learn how to be a lady.”

As the clip continued, Brett embraced in a hug and shared a kiss with his wife before his family exited the stage.

Tortuga Music Festival, which runs from April 14- April 16 and takes place on the Fort Lauderdale Beach in Florida, also featured performances from Shania Twain, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Cole Swindell, Carly Pearce, Wiz Khalifa, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, The Wallflowers and many more.

“Lady”

Brett Young first debuted “Lady” during his headlining Chapters Tour in early 2020. He later released the poignant song as a single to country radio as the follow-up to his chart-topping hit, “Catch.” The tune appears on his third studio album, Weekends Look a Little Different These Days, and became his seventh No. 1 hit.

Produced by Dan Huff and co-written by Young alongside Jon Nite and Ross Copperman, “Lady” serves as a love letter to his daughters about his wife and the “most personal song I’ve ever written.”

“‘Lady’ is maybe one of the most special songs I’ve ever written. I knew from the moment that my wife and I even started discussing having children that I was gonna want to write songs for my kid. I thought for sure it would after they were born and I got to know them a little bit—something would inspire me,” Young previously explained of the tune.

Released A New Song “Dance With You”

Brett Young’s latest single “You Didn’t” currently sits in the Top 10 at Country radio and he recently shared a brand-new song titled “Dance With You.”

Co-written by Young alongside Jordan Minton and Jimmy Robbins, “Dance With You” takes the simple act of a dance and gives it more meaning, refreshing the significance of the “little things” in unconditional love.

In addition to sharing the new tune, Young also debuted a heartwarming lyric video for the track that features footage from he and his wife’s wedding day.

“It meant so much to release a little bit of my own love story,” Young said of the new song. “My wife and I have a bond that’s hard to put into words. This song and video let us relive the events of such a special day and the start of our journey. Getting to share it with the world made me even more thankful for what we have.”

Additionally, Brett Young is currently embarking on his headlining 5, TOUR, 3, 2, 1 tour, produced by Live Nation.
