American Idol judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie brought the party to Downtown Nashville on Sunday evening (Nov. 14).
Following auditions to find the next American Idol, Idol judges took to the heart of Music City to surprise patrons at Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge on Lower Broadway.
In a series of clips captured by patrons, shared by TMZ, Bryan, Perry and Richie are seen on stage at Bryan’s 32 Bridge in Downtown Nashville.
The first clip shows Bryan, wearing a Canadian Tuxedo, singing “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” with a full band on the small bar stage, while his cohorts, Richie & Perry, joined him on stage in front of a massive Luke Bryan neon sign.
“Katy Perry got me into this,” Bryan told the crowd, before Perry chimed in, “I always get people in trouble!”
While Bryan performed “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” Perry, wearing an animal print jacket, danced along and Richie, dancing and clapping along, held an infamous Idol golden ticket in his hand. A blonde woman, who joined Bryan and his cohorts on stage, also seen in the clip was holding an American Idol card while standing beside Bryan.
The second video, also captured by a fan at the bar, showed Bryan taking to the seating area of the bar to sing a cover of Bob Seger/Metallica’s hit “Turn The Page.” While he performed the popular tune, Bryan interacted with fans and even cheers his beer with a few near the stage.
It is unclear if the trio of superstars were filming for an episode of Idol or just having some fun after a long day of auditions, however, it appears footage from their appearance may appear on the upcoming Season of Idol as they did have a film crew with them.
