Jeremy Rosado made his Father proud with a heartwarming tribute during NBC’s The Voice.

The passionate pop singer and Florida native put his impressive vocals on full display during The Voice on Monday evening (Nov. 15) with a soaring cover of Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me.”

Ahead of the performance, Rosado explained that he was dedicating his performance to his Father, who suffers from a heart condition.

“I wanted to dedicate it to my Dad,” the 29-year-old Top 13 finalist told Clarkson of whom he would be dedicating his performance to this week. “He’s got a heart condition, he lives off of just one artery in his heart and every night that I said goodnight it’s never a promise the next day. He’s my best friend, and he’s the reason I’m here.”

Rosado continued, “I’ve given up on music so many times, my Dad, he’s the one that calls me, and he’s like ‘my son, you keep going, it’s going to take one song, one shot, one moment, and it’s going to change everything for you, I believe it.’ That’s the biggest trait that I’ve got from him for my kid. How to teach her not to quit. I just wanted to thank him and just say what these lyrics say.

“I’m so excited to do this for him, because I don’t know how much more time I get with him,” Rosado, who was overcome with emotion, added.

Prior to his extraordinary performance, Rosado left his coach Kelly Clarkson speechless after he revealed that it was his first time ever singing the song, and he blew it out of the water.

Donning a black and gold suit jacket, Rosado truly shined with his soaring performance, which allowed him to highlight his powerhouse vocals.

Following his beautiful tribute, coach Clarkson and her cohort Ariana Grande gushed over Rosado’s vocal abilities.

“Jeremy, I’m such a fan of yours,” Grande began. “I always look forward to your performances, not only because you sing so great, but you ooze just so much love and heart. You always move me emotionally. What a beautiful tribute to your Dad, that was stunning, and he’s always going to cherish that so much, and it’s a huge to-do to sing Celine. I love her so much, queen, but you absolutely sang the heck of that song. So, amazing work!”

“Oh my gosh, you had me in tears again man,” Clarkson shared. “You just have such a gift of not just being an amazing singer but a really letting people in. That is something that cannot be taught to an artist. You are just so vulnerable and so open, and it’s so needed and necessary to be an amazing artist.”

Clarkson continued, “thank you so much for being on my team, and picking me. America, please vote for Jeremy right now, he just killed Celine. Vote!”

The Voice returns to NBC on Tuesday (Nov. 16), where they will reveal the Top 11.
