Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks shared the secret to their successful marriage with a hilarious duet on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

On Friday, May 28, Yearwood and Brooks co-hosted The Ellen Show and during the show, the couple offered audience members some love and marriage advice. During the segment, Yearwood and Brooks performed a hilarious duet that comically details the secret behind their successful 15-year marriage, which should be dubbed “Wife Is Always Right.”

“Never goto bed angry / it ain’t worth the fight / if you’re wise you will compromise / and hold each other tight / you better learn to say yes dear / everyday and night / only one thing to remember / your wife is always right,” Brooks sang before Yearwood got to sing her verse.

“He may drive you crazy with the whistling he does / and after years of training / he ain’t much better than he was / if you want to have a marriage / well let me shed some light / there’s only thing to remember,” Yearwood sang before Brooks joined in, ending the duet singing “the wife is always right” in perfect harmony.

Brooks then told Yearwood that the song was missing something before breaking out into a whistle solo.

“There’s only one thing that song is missing, that song’s missing a solo,” Brooks said before whistling the song’s melody, prompting a response from Yearwood, who said “are you seriously doing this right now.”

Following their hilarious duet that shared the secret key to a successful marriage, the virtual audience gave Brooks & Yearwood and massive round of applause.
