Faith Hill turned 55-years-old on Wednesday (Sept. 21) and her husband, country superstar Tim McGraw, made sure to make her feel loved on her special day with an adorable social media post gushing over his wife.

McGraw posted a heartfelt video featuring shots of Faith and the star over the years to his track, “My Best Friend.” The lyrics are the perfect fit to express his love for Hill, including lines “I don’t know where I’d be without you here with me / Life with you makes perfect sense / You’re my best friend.”

“Happy birthday!!!!! My best friend. My soul mate. The love of my life. I can’t believe that I get to spend my days and nights with you for the rest of my life! You are such a remarkable person and our 3 daughters could not have a better role model in their lives …… We love you baby! @faithhill,” McGraw captioned the post on Instagram.

The Grammy winning artist is head over heels for his wife of nearly 26 years, and isn’t afraid to show his mushy side when it comes to Hill.

McGraw shared a video telling the sweet story of how he proposed to his chart-topping wife, captioning the post, “25 years later and it’s still the best day of my life. Thanks for going on this journey with me. Love you Faith ❤️.”

“I always say that everything good in my life has come from country music,” McGraw shared in a July episode of Superstar Power Hour with Audacy’s Katie Neal. “I wouldn’t have met my wife if it wasn’t for country music and I wouldn’t have these three, beautiful, strong [daughters] that I have in my life without country music. I wouldn’t have the acting experiences I have without country music. All the things I’ve gotten to do, gotten to travel the world, I probably wouldn’t be doing that had I pursued another career path,” he said.

“My daughter ran across this, man my wife can sing!” McGraw captioned an Instagram video of Hill.

The loved-up country power couple share three daughters: Gracie (25), Maggie (24) and Audrey (20).

Their youngest shared an interview filmed earlier in Hill’s career to commemorate her mother’s birthday. In the video, the “This Kiss” singer sits in a rocking chair as she discusses how she is just a normal girl that dreamt of being a singer.

“I’m just a country girl that happens to sing,” said Hill in the video. “The most important thing is that I want to be happy with what I do. If I can obtain that, then I’ll be doing okay for myself.”

Born on September 21, 1967, to Ted and Edna Perry in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Faith crossed paths with McGraw when they were both on the rise in the country music scene. After being engaged for a mere few months, the duo tied the knot, and appear to be stronger than ever today.
