Andrew Wendowski is the Founder and CEO of Music Mayhem. As a 29-year-old entrepreneur, he oversees content as the Editor-In-Chief for the independent brand. Shinedown gave fans an update on their forthcoming seventh studio album.

In an interview with Metal Hammer, the band’s frontman Brent Smith revealed that he and bassist Eric Bass have been hard at work in the studio for the past two months.

“The last two months I’ve been working with Eric [Bass] on ‘Shinedown 7’, and we’re about nine songs into that,” Smith shared.

Smith and his cohort Zach Myers have been spending most of their time working on their side project, Smith & Myers, the duo recently release two EPs and set out on a brief drive-in concerts.

During the Metal Hammer interview, the singer also discussed the last time he cried, the two new Smith & Myers EPs, his drug recovery and more.

The yet-to-be announced album will follow their chart-topping 2018 album, Attention Attention.
