Shania Twain Promises To Include Songs She Hasn’t Played In A Long Time On Queen Of Me Tour Set List

“There’s going to be a lot of music people have been asking me to do but have not been in the show for a while,” Twain told Extra at this year’s GRAMMYs.

Country singer Shania Twain is gearing up for her Queen Of Me Tour, which kicks off on Apr. 28 in Spokane, Washington.

Ahead of her big tour, the 57-year-old “Queen Of Me” singer is teasing which of her hits fans can expect to hear. On the red carpet at this year’s Grammy Awards, Twain told Extras Rachel Lindsay and Melvin Robert that she will be playing “songs from years ago” on the road.

After Lindsay gushed over Twain’s Vegas show and asked her what her upcoming tour would be like, Twain shared that the tour was “going to be completely different from Vegas.”

“It’ll be a more sleek show. There’ll be a lot of new songs in the show. I’ll bring back some songs from years ago that I haven’t played in a long time. I’m going to refresh it in that sense. There’s going to be a lot of music people have been asking me to do but have not been in the show [for] a while as well,” the country singer explained.

‘My Sharry Moment’

Twain also revealed if she would be bringing former One Direction band member turned solo singer, Harry Styles on the road with her.

“I’d have to kidnap Harry for him to come on tour with me,” Twain laughed, adding she’d try to get the “As It Was” singer up on stage for just one night. “For one night, sure,” she said. “I will work on that. I will get him up on stage during the tour.”

After admitting she is a “super Harry fan,” the country singer suggested that fans call them “Sharry.”

“I’m like, yeah man, this is my ‘Sharry’ moment,” she continued.

If Styles joins Twain on her tour, it wouldn’t be the first time they sang a duet.

The pair previously performed together during the 2022 Coachella Festival where they blended their voices on Twain’s hit songs, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and “You’re Still The One.”

In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the “Queen Of Me” singer even admitted at the time she “didn’t realize the significance” teaming up with Styles on stage would have.

“I didn’t realize the significance of that moment,” Twain told Lowe, according to PEOPLE. “I just saw it as a moment to get together with Harry, but I didn’t see it as such a landmark moment… It was such a wonderful surprise, everyone’s reaction,” she added.

One-Night-Only Concert In Nashville

While fans will have to wait and see if Styles joins Twain on stage, they don’t have to wait much longer to see the “Queen Of Me” singer on the road.

Included on the various stops of Twain’s upcoming tour is a one-night-only concert on Jun. 7 at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The concert will feature support from fellow country singers Kelsea Ballerini and BRELAND and will be the first live show to take place at the park since it opened up as a soccer-specific stadium on May 1, 2022.

The show also marks Twain’s first performance in Music City in nearly five years.

Twain announced she’d be playing a show at the 30,109-seat stadium back in October after rumors began circulating about what was next for the country singer in the press.

“There’s been a few rumours in the press about what’s coming next from me – It’s been fun to watch,” Twain wrote on Instagram, including a laughing face emoji in her caption. “Well, I am here to officially confirm ONE of those rumours… NASHVILLE, won’t you wake up dreaming with me, @kelseaballerini and @breland at @geodispark on June 7th 2023??,” she continued.

Besides playing Geodis Park and gearing up for her tour, Twain released her sixth studio album, Queen Of Me back in February. The album features 12 tracks, including singles, “Waking Up Dreaming” and “Giddy Up!” as well as “Number One,” a song that was written by the songstress’ 21-year-old son, Eja.
