Aside from his career in country music, Riley Green’s dating life has been the topic of conversation. Over the past few months, the rumor mill has been swirling around the 36-year-old Alabama native’s connections to fellow artists Ella Langley, 26, and Megan Moroney, 27.
Riley Green Speaks Out On Dating Rumors
Green and Langley have previously collaborated on two steamy duets —the hit smash “You Look Like You Love Me” from Langley’s debut album Hungover and “Don’t Mind If I Do” from Green’s album of the same name. They have also delivered a handful of performances together while on Green’s Damn Country Music tour, showcasing their undeniable musical chemistry.
On the flip side, thanks, in part, to some internet sleuths digging into Moroney and Green’s social media pages. News previously surfaced that the two had been in St. Barts, at the same time. Moroney eventually confirmed that she and the “Worst Way” singer had met up on the Caribbean Island together. However, they had been traveling separately and weren’t romantically involved.
“He was individually on his vacation with his friends. St. Barts is a popular place!” Moroney told Rolling Stone. “It’s one of those things where if you know someone on a small island, you’re like, ‘Oh, sh*t, you’re here too.’ So it was fun.”
“Just because we’re hanging out doesn’t mean we’re romantically dating. You know what I mean?” She added.
However, despite shutting down dating rumors, Green hasn’t been able to escape the chatter. After he and Langley took home several awards for their “You Look Like You Love Me” duet at the 2025 ACM Awards, fans were back in a frenzy over the facial expressions they made toward each other throughout the evening, speculating there was tension between the pair.
“I know a failed situationship when I see one,” one fan captioned in a separate concert video on TikTok.
Ella Langley and Megan Moroney Also Referenced The Dating Rumors
Over the weekend, it appears both Langley and Moroney have decided to feed into the fan frenzy, with both artists making reference to the dating rumors from the stage during their respective performances.
Per the TikTok videos below, in the middle of her set, Langley winked at a fan’s sign, reading “Wink if Riley’s a dumb***,” while Moroney — at her show — allegedly mouthed out the words “He fu**ed up” in response to a fan’s t-shirt featuring Green on the front. Needless to say, both actions have set off a buzz of extended curiosity about both relationships.
Riley Green Admits He “Finds Out Who I’m Dating Weekly”
True or not (as it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole of speculation), Green is here to shut down any buzz that he is in a relationship with anyone, adding that Moroney and Langley aren’t the only two people he has been rumored to be involved with romantically.
“I find out who I’m dating weekly on social media,” Green said in a recent interview, adding that the persistent conversations surrounding the Langley and Moroney triangle. “A pretty big one there. But I think a lot of stuff I see is so outlandish that it keeps me humble a little and I don’t have to worry about it. They’ll say anything on there.”
“I’m rumored to have dated a lot of people. I kind of understand that. People always long for that Tim and Faith, Johnny and June, George and Tammy thing,” he added. “Ella and I have two giant songs together. I think fans want to believe that what you sing about is real. Follow those lyrics and think there’s a story there. I can comprehend people that are thinking there’s something going on. For me, I’m just glad that we’re having success together. I’m so proud of her.”

Reveals Why He Shaved His Mustache
It appears that whatever Green does, folks are easy to jump to the idea that there’s a female connection with it. Take, for example, the photo posted on his Instagram page in May, where he revealed he shaved his mustache.
“It’s interesting how things like shaving your mustache can become viral now,” he said. “I never thought that would be a thing.”
“So I shave every year just to get a little sun on my face,” Green told Audacy’s Katie Neal during Superstar Power Hour. “It just feels nice for a little change, and I didn’t realize that I’m, like, ‘mustache guy’ now. So people expect a certain level of mustache from me, and when I shaved, it really hurt some people’s feelings.”
Green added that “It was nice that day. I walked in the bar and nobody knew who I was, like I was about 14 when I shaved it off.”

But his private life has practically become non-existent since the rise of his star. And, he is in the process of changing that.
While serving as a co-host on Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton, Green opened up about selling his Nashville house and venturing outside of the bustling city for a little bit of privacy.
“It’s not my favorite part of the industry. I miss being a regular guy,” he admitted. “But it’s a small price to pay for the opportunities I’ve gotten. I’m buying another place further out of town, and the neighbors are further away. I’m getting more land.”
