Luke Bryan stopped his Country On Came On Tour stop at Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas on Thursday (June 19) after experiencing vocal issues that prevented him from delivering the show he felt fans deserved to let fans know that he will be issuing full refunds for their tickets.

Luke Bryan Powers Through Vocal Struggles In Arkansas

In the midst of his headlining show on the Country Song Came On Tour at Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas on Thursday (June 19), the country superstar paused his show as he was experiencing vocal troubles that prevented him from giving the crowd of nearly 11,000 fans the show they paid for and deserve.

Before performing a cover of “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan attempted to sing, but was clearly struggling with vocal issues, according to a clip shared on TikTok by a concertgoer.

“Chill out. The worst thing I can do for my career is, on a night that I can’t sing, do a Chris Stapleton song,” he joked before asking the fans to sing, making it abundantly clear that he was unable to power through the cover without hurting his vocals further.

Stopped Show To Issue Full Refunds To Fans

Shortly after, Bryan got vulnerable and honest with fans and apologized, noting that every time he plays a show at the Arkansas Amphitheater this vocal issue happens to him.

“So, I’m going to get real with y’all. This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life,” the Georgia native told the audience. “I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time, I don’t know why. But you guys keep showing up year after year to see me put on a show.”

Believing his performance fell short, Bryan followed Luke Combs’ lead and offered full refunds to the crowd. He mentioned Combs’ 2022 concert, when the “Fathers & Sons” singer returned ticket money after pushing through a show with a strained voice, saying fans deserved more than a subpar experience.

“I saw Luke Combs do this a couple of years ago when he was having a weird night onstage, and I said, ‘you know what? That’s pretty cool.’ So I don’t give a damn, I’m gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight, and we’re going to keep doing the damn show, okay?” Bryan continued.

Continued On With The Show And Issued Refunds

While the country hitmaker did deliver a full concert to the best of his ability, it was evident that he was struggling to get through with his vocal issues. “I don’t know why I’ve had to do this every time, but y’all can hear,” he added. “So we’re going to make the most of it, let’s do it.”

Following the concert, Luke Bryan announced that “due to illness” he was also forced to reschedule his concerts in Dallas and Lafayette, which will now take place in September of 2025.

“Due to illness, my shows in Dallas and Lafayette this weekend have been rescheduled to the following dates: 09/11 Lafayette, LA and 09/12 Dallas, Texas. Please hold on to your tickets – they will be honored for the new dates. Thank you for your understanding,” Bryan wrote on social media.
