Reba McEntire and her boyfriend Rex Linn are mourning the loss of their seven-year-old French Bulldog, Riddler.
The three-time GRAMMY Award winner took to social media on Friday (Nov. 18) to share the sad news with fans.
“If we’re really lucky, an Angel will place something in our laps that will affect us for a lifetime…and we got really lucky,” McEntire wrote. “This particular “Angel delivered” life companion, Riddler (aka Budders, Budski, Squareheaded Bastard), said goodbye to us at 11:20 AM PT on Wednesday.”

McEntire went on to explain that her and Linn’s beloved pup was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and survived less than three weeks with the illness before he succumbed to the disease.
“Only seven years old, lymphoma took his life less than three weeks after diagnosis,” McEntire explained. “He was a GRAND CHAMPION in the Show Ring, but a grander one in life. He impacted everyone that came across his path. He was a good man to ride the river with, the Best.”

McEntire and Linn recently attended the 56th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday, November 9, where the pair presented and McEntire performed.
Ahead of the coveted awards show, the beloved couple walked hand-in-hand at the CMA Awards red carpet. McEntire donned an elegant velvet blue gown and glittery heels, while Linn opted for a more traditional look in a black suit and black shirt.
Reba’s latest tour kicked off on October 13 in Lafayette, Louisiana at the Cajundome and features support from Terri Clark and virtual collaborations with Brooks & Dunn and Vince Gill. The Oklahoma native’s show boasts impressive production, with costume changes, pyrotechnics, and more.
Reba will also return to the road in 2023 for an extension of Reba: Live In Concert. Kicking off on March 9, the next trek will conclude with the “Fancy” singer’s first-ever headlining performance at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“I am very grateful we’re continuing this tour on into 2023,” Reba said. “I’ve had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most, entertaining people. And now getting to headline places like Madison Square Garden and bring my buddies Terri Clark and The Isaacs with me? Well, that’s just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!”
In addition to touring, fans can catch Reba starring on Big Sky alongside her boyfriend, Rex Linn. The ABC drama airs Wednesday nights at 10pm ET.
In 2023, Reba will star in The Hammer on Lifetime. The much-anticipated film was inspired by the life of traveling circuit judge, Kim Wanker.
According to a press release from the network, McEntire will play the role of Kim Wheeler, who is described as “outspoken, firecracker lawyer” who is appointed Judge of the 5th District of Nevada. As one of the few traveling judges left in America, Wheeler finds herself covering a new circuit after the reigning judge passes away under what is described as “suspicious circumstances.”

“I’m excited to share this newly packaged collection of my all-time favorite Christmas songs,” McEntire shared. “It was so hard to narrow down to just twelve songs, but I hope my fans enjoy this journey through time!”
Reba McEntire’s next scheduled tour date will take place on Saturday, November 19 at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, with special guest Terri Clark.
