Raelynn filed for divorce from husband, Joshua Davis, ending a marriage that has spanned more than a decade.
According to court documents obtained by Music Mayhem, the 32-year-old country singer and Team Blake Shelton The Voice alum, whose legal name is Racheal Davis, filed a “Divorce Complaint – Child” against husband Joshua Davis on June 8, 2026 in the Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville, Tennessee. The filing includes a temporary injunction, summons for personal service, and a parenting seminar order. Court records indicate Joshua Davis was officially served with the divorce papers on June 22, 2026.
RaeLynn confirmed the split in an exclusive statement to Music Mayhem, sharing that a decision had been made to end their marriage.
“After much thought and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. This has not been an easy decision,” Raelynn shared in a statement. “As a working mom, I am committed to giving my daughter the love, stability, and support she will need while we navigate this next chapter together. I am grateful for the love and encouragement of my family, friends, and fans, and I respectfully ask for privacy as we move forward with grace and compassion.”
At this time, no additional details regarding the reason for the divorce have been made publicly available. Joshua Davis has yet to comment on the divorce.
RaeLynn and Joshua Davis, a former financial advisor, ex-minor league baseball player and U.S. Army veteran, had been married for more than 10 years (and knew each other for nearly 15 years) before the divorce filing. The pair first met at church in 2012, and after their initial meeting, RaeLynn slid into Joshua’s DMs on social media. They later reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding and began an on-and-off relationship before eventually making things official.
The couple got engaged on October 12, 2015, when Joshua proposed at Belmont University in Nashville by sending RaeLynn on a romantic scavenger hunt through several locations that held special meaning throughout their relationship.

Just four months later, the couple exchanged vows in front of approximately 300 guests, which included No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani and fellow country star and Blake Shelton among its guests, during a rustic woodland-themed ceremony at a friend’s barn in Franklin, Tennessee.
The day before their wedding, RaeLynn shared a heartfelt tribute to her future husband on social media. “Joshua Brown Davis I am beyond honored that God picked me to be your wife. You are such a godly, humble, loyal, handsome and amazing man,” RaeLynn wrote.
Following the ceremony, the singer celebrated the milestone with a selfie on Instagram, writing, “time to celebrate being married to my best friend!!” She later added, “What a beautiful day with such beautiful people. I am so thankful for everyone in my life and for my amazing Husband.”
RaeLynn and Joshua welcomed their first and only child, daughter Daisy Rae Davis, on September 8, 2021.
Throughout their marriage, RaeLynn and Joshua shared glimpses of their family life on social media and often appeared together at industry events.
The “God Made Girls” singer previously opened up to Music Mayhem about marriage not always being easy. “Marriage is not easy, and I think that people think the world has made it seem like if it doesn’t feel like butterflies and fairies the whole time that it’s not worth it, or they aren’t the right one. It’s about sticking it out,” she explained during an interview in August of 2023. “I’m not saying that you have to stick things out if things are really bad, like an abusive relationship or things like that, but as for the normal wear and tear, we’re all human.”
“Anytime my friends are getting married, I’m like, ‘Just listen to each other and respect each other,’ you might get mad sometimes, but at the end of the day, if you’re wrong or he’s wrong, or you’re right, or he’s right, you’re always going to feel better about respecting the person and what they’ve said,” she continued at the time.

RaeLynn is currently on the road playing headlining shows and festivals, as well as joining Luke Bryan as support on select dates of his Word On The Street Tour.
