Old Dominion was forced to abruptly postpone their Florida concert, which was set to take place on Friday evening (Mar. 22). The award-winning country group took to social media hours before the show was set to take place to issue a statement with fans.

In the statement, the “One Man Band” singers shared the unfortunate news that the show is unable to happen due to “potentially dangerous” weather conditions.

Old Dominion Postpones Key West Concert

“Welp, here we go again, Key West. We know it’s beyond frustrating, but the weather is not only rainy, it’s shaping up to be potentially dangerous tonight. Strong winds, flooding and lightning are forcing us to postpone tonight’s show…” Old Dominion wrote in a lengthy social media post early Friday (Mar. 22) afternoon.

The band went on to admit that they have been looking forward to the show at The Key West Amphitheater, but unfortunately had to postpone to keep concertgoers safe from the impending storm.

“We’ve all waited over a year for this… Damn it, we’re not leaving until we give you a great… and SAFE show,” Old Dominion continued.

Rescheduled Date Announced

They then revealed that the show originally scheduled for Friday evening will now occur on Sunday afternoon, preceding their Sunday evening show at the same venue. The group is scheduled to deliver three back-to-back concerts at The Key West Amphitheater. It seems the group has no luck when it comes to performing in Key West, as the trio of shows was supposed to take place last year, but were postponed due to Matthew Ramsey’s ATV accident.

“Tonight’s show is gonna be moved to Sunday afternoon. So we will be doing 2 shows in a row on Sunday. After all, it’s the damn No Bad Vibes Tour! So have fun out there on Duval tonight and STAY SAFE. We’ll all turn this into something special on Sunday in the sunshine,” Old Dominion concluded in their official statement.

Doors will open at 10 AM, with the show scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM. Refund requests must be made by March 23 at 11:59pm. For all mobile ticket holders, refund requests can be made directly in the AXS app. For all other ticket holders, please contact AXS Fan Support to request a refund. Check your inbox for more info.”

Old Dominion Are Currently Embarking On The No Bad Vibes Tour

Old Dominion is currently in the midst of their headlining No Bad Vibes Tour, which kicked off on January 19, 2023, at Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The trek, featuring support from Frank Ray, Kassi Ashton, Greylan James and more on select dates, will continue through June 30, where it will wrap up at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey’s in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Tour Comes In Support Of their Latest Album, Memory Lane

The No Bad Vibes Tour comes in support of Old Dominion’s latest album, Memory Lane, the group’s fifth studio album.

The 18-track project features their ninth chart-topping hit, “Memory Lane,” as well as their current single, “Can’t Break Up Now,” featuring rising country star Megan Moroney. In addition to a duet with Moroney, Memory Lane also includes a collaboration with Blake Shelton, titled “Ain’t Got A Worry,” and the fan-favorite tracks “I Should Have Married You,” “Easier Said With Rum,” “Ain’t Got A Worry” and more.

The project is a continuation of the sampler that they released in January and the early Summer EP of the same name.

“We always knew this was going to be a full album,” Old Dominion frontman Matthew Ramsey previously explained. “But we wanted to give our fans the opportunity to absorb it completely. Over the years, we’ve developed a conversation with fans, bad days, big moments, I’d like to think our songs make both better. We wanted to make an album that takes our songs and looks a little deeper into what happens between two people. Just because it’s deep, though, it doesn’t mean the music can’t feel good.”

Old Dominion will return to the stage on Saturday, March 23, at The Key West Amphitheater in Key West, Florida.
