Morgan Wallen has plenty of summer-ready songs in his extensive music catalog, but listening to them is even better when combined with his brand-new delicious refreshment called Wallen’s Ryl Sweet Tea.

Wallen teamed up with the New Jersey-based beverage company Ryl Tea on the new release, which arrived just in time for the Memorial Day festivities.

Inspired by memories of his early childhood summers spent in East Tennessee, the drink offers an exquisite taste while also being a healthy alternative to other more sugary sweet tea options.

Built on a black tea base, the zero-sugar proprietary blend sweet tea includes all-natural ingredients for the health-conscious connoisseur but still stays true to the authentic taste that defines the classic Southern staple of sweet tea.

Includes 200mg of Tea Polyphenols

While the drink is uniquely its own, some of the components of Wallen’s thirst-quencher include 200mg of tea polyphenols for an antioxidant boost, Monk Fruit sweetener, Stevia Leaf Extract, and Allulose. The antioxidant-rich beverage, which comes encased in a 100% recyclable package, is also artificially-free, keeping up with the guidelines that make up healthy drinks.

Took Six Months to Craft Morgan Wallen’s Ryl Sweet Tea

Wallen worked with Ryl Tea for six months to come up with the perfect ingredients to market the drink to his fan base after he realized the memory of sweet tea from his childhood was too good not to share.

In a press release, he says, “Ryl Tea and I worked hard to capture the sweet tea taste I remember from my childhood. It took time, but it was well worth the wait. I love this sweet tea, and the fact that it’s healthy makes it all the better. This tea takes me right back to my Mamaw’s front porch on a hot summer’s day.”

“Introducing My Very Own Sweet Tea…”

A proud ambassador and investor of Ryl Tea, Wallen also took to Instagram to announce his sweet tea collaboration with his followers.

“Told y’all something sweet was coming soon… introducing my very own Sweet Tea,” he wrote of the drink, which has a starting price of $27.99 per 12-pack, alongside a promotional photo of himself holding up the beverage for all to see. “…. Ryl Tea Sold-Out Upon Release

Upon release, Ryl Sweet Tea became available at www.drinkryl.com, but sold out quickly, according to the website. Folks who weren’t able to get their hands on the product can still purchase the tea in the near future as new shipments will become available in early June via the GoPuff app as well as in stores Wegmans, Shoprite, and Sprouts Farmers Market. In July, Wallen’s Ryl Sweet Tea will be stocked in stores at Kroger.

“Morgan was an invaluable resource in getting the Southern Sweet Tea just right through a taste verification step in the development process. It’s what makes this flavor so unique and authentic,” Founder and CEO of The Ryl Company, Blodin Ukella, shared in a press release. “We’re proud to introduce a product that delivers a delicious and nostalgic taste yet aligns with our mission to provide clean and functional options to our loyal customers.”

New Album, One Thing At A Time

The latest taste of nostalgia follows the release of Wallen’s 36-track album, One Thing At A Time, which just celebrated its 11th consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has, thus far, spawned three No. 1 hits, including “You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know” and “Last Night.”

The album cover features Wallen standing on the front steps of his grandma, Mamaw Boots’ porch.

“My Mamaw Boots helped raise me. I had such a special bond with her, so I wanted to honor her with this new record,” Wallen previously shared in a press release.

Wallen has been sidelined from playing shows on his massive One Night At A Time stadium tour due to a doctor-ordered need for vocal rest. He recently rescheduled a string of dates, and according to his official website, he will return to the road on June 22, with his first stop at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL.
