Morgan Wallen’s first-ever stadium concert has become the fastest sellout in Globe Life Field history.

The concert, which is part of Wallen’s Dangerous tour in support of his double album of the same name, will take place on October 8 in Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field. The concert is Wallen’s first-ever stadium show and will feature special guests, HARDY, Mike Ryan, and Jake Worthington.

“I grew up playing baseball… spending more nights than I can count on fields in East Tennessee, it’s a special moment to be back on the field but doing my thing with my band,” Wallen said about the show, which will take place at the home of the Texas Rangers.

In addition, Wallen told fans that they were “extremely special” via his Instagram stories once he’d learned the show had sold out.

A representative for Globe Life Field told Music Mayhem that nearly all the tickets for Wallen’s show sold out during the pre-sales.

Wallen sold over 37,000 tickets by the end of the first day that tickets went on sale to the public. He has surpassed Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard, who sold 36,000 tickets by the end of the day in which they went on sale.

Tickets for the show went on sale back on March 10 via Wallen’s website: MorganWallen.com.

Globe Life Field will host five concerts in 2022, including Lady Gaga, Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard. The facility has previously hosted two sold-out shows in 2021: Fall Out Boy and Green Day’s Hella Mega Tour and Chris Stapleton.

Wallen is currently performing on the Dangerous tour, with his next show taking place on May 12 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. HARDY and Larry Fleet will serve as support for the show.

Wallen has surprised the fans in attendance at previous stops on the Dangerous tour, bringing out HARDY to sing “He Went To Jared,” from volume one of HARDY’s Hixtape as well as ERNEST for their collaboration, “Flower Shops.”

Aside from touring, Wallen has recently released several new songs, including the deeply personal track, “Don’t Think Jesus” and “Thought You Should Know,” a tribute to his mom, Lesli , as well as the fan favorite tune, “You Proof,” which he shared on his 29th birthday.

Aside from music, Wallen recently played in a charity golf tournament benefitting the Snedeker Foundation on May 3.

In addition, Wallen has also been spending some quality family time with his 1-year-old son, Indigo Wilder Wallen, and recently opened up about co-parenting with his ex KT Smith.
