Morgan Wallen issued an apology following the use of a racial slur outside of his Nashville home.
According to a video obtained by TMZ, the “More Than My Hometown” singer was recorded on Sunday (Jan. 31) by a neighbors ring camera spouting out profanities and a racial slur.
“Take care of this pu**y a*s motherf*****,” Wallen said before shouting, “take care of this p*ssy ass n***er” before he heading back into his home accompanied by a friend.
Wallen shared an apology with the outlet saying that he is “embarrassed and sorry” for using the completely unacceptable racial slur.
“I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.”
Wallen recently released his album, Dangerous: The Double Album, which went on to break records previously held by Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs. The sophomore album was released on January 8 and includes hit songs such as “More Than My Hometown,” “7 Summers,” “Heartless (feat. Diplo),” “Cover Me Up” and more.
