Morgan Wallen and HARDY are set to join forces with Post Malone for a not-to-be-missed performance at the 2023 CMA Awards on November 8. Their collaborative performance will feature a medley of beloved Country classics.
Marks Post Malone’s CMA Awards Debut
This performance will mark Post Malone’s first time performing at a Country music awards show as well as his CMA Awards show debut. Surprisingly, this isn’t his first time dabbling in Country music. Post Malone is actually an avid fan of the genre and has even considered releasing a Country album in the future. He has previously showcased his love for Country music with covers of Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song),” Sturgill Simpson’s “You Can Have the Crown,” and more during live performances.
Next year, Post Malone will also return to the Country music circuit as he was recently revealed to be on the lineup for Stagecoach 2024, where he will perform a set of country covers.
Following the star-studded collaboration, Wallen will later return to the stage for a second time with a yet-to-be announced surprise guest to perform a song from his CMA Album of the Year nominated project, One Thing At A Time.

Morgan Wallen is currently nominated for three awards, including Entertainer Of The Year, Album Of The Year (One Thing At A Time) and Male Vocalist Of The Year.
Meanwhile, HARDY is among the most-nominated of the evening with four nods. He is up for Single Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”), Song Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”), Musical Event Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”) and Music Video Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”).

The show will also feature performances by Wallen, Luke Bryan, Jelly Roll, K. Michelle, Little Big Town, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton, Tanya Tucker, Lainey Wilson, Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, Alan Jackson, Cody Johnson, Mac McAnally, Ashley McBryde, The War And Treaty, Zac Brown Band and more.
First-time CMA nominee Jelly Roll will kick off the show with a must-see performance of his chart-topping hit, “NEED A FAVOR.” He will also return to the stage for a moving performance alongside K. Michelle for their rendition of The Judds’ “Love Can Build A Bridge.”
In honor of earning a milestone of 30 No. 1 hits, Luke Bryan will take a break from his co-hosting duties to deliver a show-stopping medley of his biggest hits, including “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day,” “One Margarita,” “That’s My Kind Of Night,” “Play It Again” and “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).”
Ballerini, a current CMA Female Vocalist and Album of the Year nominee, will grace the stage with her heartfelt rendition of “Leave Me Again” from her critically acclaimed EP, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.
Combs, the reigning two-time Entertainer of the Year and four-time nominee this year, will captivate the audience with his latest single, “Where The Wild Things Are.” Current CMA Vocal Duo of the Year nominee Dan + Shay will showcase their impressive harmonies as they perform their hit single, “Save Me The Trouble.”
Jordan Davis, a three-time CMA nominee this year, will serenade the crowd with his latest No. 1 hit, “Next Thing You Know.” While Cody Johnson, a CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominee, will pay tribute to his wife, Brandi, with a performance of his touching new love song, “The Painter.” Ashley McBryde, a three-time CMA nominee this year, will deliver her warm and intimate single, “Light On In The Kitchen.”
Chris Stapleton is set to offer a performance of his single, “White Horse,” as well as join Carly Pearce for the world premiere of “We Don’t Fight Anymore.”
Lainey Wilson, who is the most-nominated artist of the evening with a historic six nominations as a first-time nominee, will show fans a different side of her with “Wildflowers And Wild Horses.”
Tanya Tucker, one of the newest members of the Country Music Hall of Fame, will be joined by Vocal Group of the Year nominee Little Big Town for a special rendition of Tucker’s iconic hit, “Delta Dawn.”
Old Dominion, current CMA Vocal Group of the Year and Music Video of the Year nominees, will share the stage with CMA Song of the Year nominee Megan Moroney as they perform their collaboration, “Can’t Break Up Now.”
Jimmy Buffett Tribute At 2023 CMA Awards
The evening will also feature a touching tribute to the late “Margaritaville” singer/songwriter and CMA Award winner Jimmy Buffett from Buffett’s longtime friends, including 11-time CMA Award winner Chesney and 10-time CMA Award winner and longtime Coral Reefer Band member Mac McAnally. They will be joined by 16-time CMA Award winner Alan Jackson and 2023 Vocal Group of the Year nominee Zac Brown Band.
Co-hosted by country superstar Luke Bryan and National Football League Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, the 57th Annual CMA Awards will air live via ABC from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 8 at 8/7c and will be available the next day on Hulu.
