No shirt? No problem! At least that’s how Miranda Lambert feels when it comes to showing off her husband’s well-sculpted physique on social media. Some question whether it could be considered exploitation, but she quickly shut down those accusations claiming he “loves it” and “thinks it’s funny.”

“I told him, ‘God gave you that amazing body. You’re beautiful. Please share with the world. Don’t be rude,’” Lambert said in a recent statement to Rolling Stone. “He loves it, by the way. He’s on board and thinks it’s funny. He also works really hard at it! I’m like, “I work hard on my music, and I want people to hear it. You work hard on those abs. People need to see that, bud. I’m sorry.” I tend to take myself way too seriously sometimes. But he’s just a fun-loving, fun-hearted guy that is down for anything.”

The country music star has her Pistol Annies’ bandmates, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe to thank for her loving relationship. She was first introduced to her “fun-loving” hubby while on a work trip to NYC in 2018. At the time, the band was making their rounds and promoting their album, Interstate Gospel. They made an appearance on Good Morning America where McLoughlin was working as a security guard on set and her friends took notice of the “pretty” security guard that was on duty. Turns out, Presely and Monroe had the right idea when they invited him to come to their show. As if it were a scene right out of a movie, these two people from two different worlds fell in love and just one year later on January 26, 2019, Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot.

Brendan McLoughlin Has Appeared In Several Of Lambert’s Music Videos

Now that they are enjoying their lives together, Lambert is proud to show off her happy and healthy relationship. Of course, being the supportive husband he seems to be, McLoughlin has even been featured in several of her music videos including If I Was A Cowboy,” “Settling Down,” and “Tequila Does (Telemitry Remix).”

Most recently, the lovebirds were seen vacationing in Ireland, following Lambert’s visit to the UK for the annual C2C festival where she performed as a headliner and learned the news that she was crowned this year’s ACM Entertainer of the Year. They kept the fun going in Ireland as they celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, drank some Guinness and enjoyed the green landscape.

“Thank you, Ireland, for the most wonderful trip,” Lambert captioned her Instagram post, sharing photos of their trip. “For the Guinness, green pastures, chocolate, (@hazelmountainchocolate) cooking class, (@kenmarefoodie) perfume making, (@burrenperfumery) yummiest bread n butter ever, Molly Gallivan’s cottage with a shot of Molly’s moonshine, the history lesson and most importantly the nicest people we have ever met.”

Lambert Is Taking Her Energy-Filled Live Show To Sin City!

Now that she’s back in the states, Lambert is ready to take on her next big career move as she recently announced that she will be headlining her own Las Vegas residency called Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency.

Launching this fall, in September 2022, the 24-show residency will take place at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

“When you’ve been touring as long as I have, there’s something really creative about imagining a residency in a city like Las Vegas,” Lambert shared. “I’ve had a lot of fun designing our sets, merchandise and clothing and boot lines – and even my place on Broadway in Nashville, Casa Rosa – so, this opportunity allows me to lean in a bit more into that side of myself and think about how to really bring country music to life in this room. I think everyone will like what we’ve dreamed up. I’m really excited about this!”

Velvet Rodeo: The Residency will give fans an up close and personal opportunity to experience live performances of the numerous chart-topping songs and beloved album cuts from Lambert’s seven No. 1 albums as well as her forthcoming project.

Velvet Rodeo is set to kick off on September 23 and run through April 2023.
