Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin welcomed a new member to their “farmily” over the weekend and shared the exciting news on social media.

The couple introduced fans to their new horse, Cowboy, who found a home with the country superstar and her former NYPD hubby after a friend of a friend needed to find a new home for him.

“Y’all welcome Cowboy to the Farmily! Our newest addition. Just in time for Father’s Day,” Lambert wrote alongside several photos of the horse. “When my friend Eric said a friend of his had a horse that needed to be re homed…. That’s never a no… It’s a hell yeah!”

Lambert and McLoughlin posed with Cowboy in the photos and also shared a photo of their new stallion sporting a Little Big Town “Hell Yeah” trucker hat.

The hat caught the attention of Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook, who were quick to comment on the post.

“Cutie!!!!,” wrote Fairchild, while her husband, Westbrook, shared, Awww… amazing. He should be our new hat model.”

The “If I Was A Cowboy” singer introduced Cowboy to the world on Father’s Day, just one day after she made a surprise appearance at Brooks & Dunn’s headlining REBOOT TOUR stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

The Texas native and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year joined the iconic country music duo to perform “Cowgirls Don’t Cry” and “Neon Moon” after Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks coerced her to come on stage with them after hearing she was in the audience.

Lambert recently made headlines with the announcement of her new home goods line, Wanda June Home Collection, available exclusively at Walmart.

Wanda June Home offers over 80 kitchen, bar, tabletop, and home décor items priced from $12.97-$170, with most pieces under $30. With the intention to mix, match, and collect the styles, Lambert drew inspiration from her Southwestern retro farm kitchen – like the Vintage Stripe Porcelain Dish Set for $39.97. There is also fun and feisty barware, such as the Saucy Sippers Stainless Steel Stemless Set for $20.98, and home decor that reflects Lambert’s charming southern style, such as the Jersey Knit Fringe Pillows for $20.88.

Lambert will have the chance to enjoy a bit of downtime at her Nashville-area farm throughout the summer as she’s set to perform at a handful of country music festivals.

This fall, Lambert will launch her much-anticipated Las Vegas residency, Velvet Rodeo. Kicking off on September 23, 2022, the residency will take place at the 7,000-seat Zappos Theater inside Planet Holywood Resort & Casino, the centerpiece of the famed Las Vegas Strip.
