Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker have joined forces once again for an explosive cover of Rage Against The Machine’s 1992 hit “Killing In The Name.”
The cover comes with a music video that features artists like Yungblud, Barker and Modsun as well as Machine Gun Kelly himself out in the ongoing protests that hope to help end racism and police brutality. It also includes performance footage of Barker and Kelly performing in what appears to be a studio setting, ending with the message of ‘End Systematic Racism.’
“They wrote this song in 1992, it’s been 28 years since, and every word still applies,” Machine Gun Kelly captioned the post on Instagram.
“Killing in the Name” was released as a protest song by American rock band Rage Against the Machine, and was featured on their self-titled debut album, and was released as the lead single from the album in November 1992.
