Luke Combs’ What You See Is What You Get era is coming to a close as the country superstar gears up to release his third studio album.

On Sunday evening (Dec. 19), the reigning CMA Entertainer Of The Year took to social media to share a lengthy message, thanking everyone who helped him over the course of the last year or so as 2021 comes to a close.

“Well, we made it. The ‘What You See Is What You Get’ tour is finally completed after 2+ years of setbacks,” Combs shared. “This was the funnest, scariest, most rewarding, most stressful musical experience of my life, and I’d do it all over again tomorrow.”

The North Carolina native went on to thank his fans, team, and everyone who helped his success over the last year or so.

“Firstly I’d like to thank every single fan who spent their hard earned money, waited all this time, through all the bullshit, who still came out and filled those seats up every night. You are the reason we get to do things like this, and I hope we came close to putting on the show you deserve. Secondly, my team. Band, Crew, management, agents, bus drivers, truck drivers, venue staff, catering, local stage crew, label folks, and sponsors. You know who you are if you’re reading this, thank you. I know how hard each of you worked and how much you all sacrificed to make these shows happen every night and that is something I will never forget.”

Combs then thanked his wife, Nicole Hocking Combs, before giving fans an update on what’s to come in the new year.

“Last and certainly not least my beautiful wife @nicohocking and my friends and family. I love you all tremendously. Thank you all for being there for me when I was feeling down or needed to vent and for being there to take shots when we made it through. I hope we take a lot more. This tour finally closes the long strange chapter of my last album,” Combs added.

The country hitmaker then revealed that he is taking a well-deserved break before returning to the studio to finish working on his next project.

“I’m taking a few weeks off, and then we’re putting the finishing touches on LC3. Until then, hope y’all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See y’all soon!”

The North Carolina hitmaker recently earned his twelfth consecutive No. 1 hit with “Cold As You” and is now the only artist in history to earn seven chart-topping singles from the same album. Combs’ album What You See Ain’t Always What You Get has officially become the first album in history to produce seven No. 1 singles on Country Radio in the United States.

Combs will hit the road in 2022 on a sold-out Canadian Tour alongside Riley Green and Chayce Beckham.

In addition to his sold-out Canadian trek, the reigning chart-topping singer will also hit the road on his first-ever headlining Stadium tour with special guests Cody Johnson, Morgan Wade and Zach Bryan.

So, that more of you guys can come out and see us. We’re bringing along a few friends of mine Cody Johnson, Zach Bryan and Morgan Wade.”
