Luke Combs, Megan Moroney And Morgan Wallen Lead 2024 ACM Awards Nominations

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Dick Clark Productions (DCP) revealed the 2024 ACM Awards nominees on The Bobby Bones Show.

Andrew Wendowski is the Founder and CEO of Music Mayhem. As a 29-year-old entrepreneur, he oversees content as the Editor-In-Chief for the independent brand. Luke Combs, Megan Moroney, Morgan Wallen are among the most-nominated artists at the 2024 ACM Awards. The Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Dick Clark Productions (DCP) unveiled the nominations for the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on Tuesday (April 9) on The Bobby Bones Show.

Combs leads the pack with eight nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Gettin’ Old), Song of the Year (“Fast Car”), and Single of the Year (“Fast Car”), as well as Music Event of the Year with Riley Green for their chart-topping duet, “Different ‘Round Here.” This is the fifth year in a row that Luke Combs has been nominated for both Male Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Moroney follows Combs with six nods, including Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, Song of The Year (“Tennessee Orange”), Music Event of the Year (“Can’t Break Up Now” with Old Dominion), Visual Media of the Year (“Tennessee Orange”). With these nominations, she is not only among the most-nominated artists, but she is the leading female nominee.

Wallen earned six nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Artist-Songwriter of the Year, Album of the Year (One Thing At A Time), Single of the Year (“Last Night”), Music Event of the Year (“Man Made A Bar” with Eric Church).

Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson received five nominations each. While Jordan Davis earned four nods. First-time nominee Jelly Roll also scored four nods, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year, a history-making nomination. The last artist to be nominated for Entertainer of the Year as part of his first set of nominations was Billy Ray Cyrus in 1992, the same year he gained fame for his smash hit “Achy Breaky Heart.”

Kassi Ashton, Tyler Childers, Ashley Cooke, Hannah Ellis, Flatland Cavalry, Jelly Roll, Kameron Marlowe, Kylie Morgan, Neon Union, Restless Road, Conner Smith, and Tigirlily Gold are also nominated as first-time nominees.

“Country Music’s Party of the Year” will stream live exclusively for a global audience across 240+ countries and territories on Prime Video on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
