With March being Women’s History Month, Luke Combs is honoring a female country superstar who has heavily influenced his country music career.

In an interview with Sony Music Nashville, Combs admitted that Lambert has been a huge inspiration and influence on his career, “I think it’s hard to say that Miranda Lambert hasn’t influenced my music a ton.” Also sharing that she has written some songs that have been extremely impactful.

“You know, right around the time that I started playing guitar you know she was coming into prominence in this genre and was putting out really great, really impactful songs she was writing,” the “Forever After All” singer continued. “And so, you know, anybody that writes their own stuff and sings great and performs great is someone that truly inspiring to me.”

Additionally, Combs is currently working on his third studio album, which will be the follow-up to his chart-topping album, 2x Platinum album, What You See Is What You Get, and the 2020 deluxe edition of that dubbed, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get.

Recently, The singer scored his tenth consecutive No. 1 single with “Better Together” and his latest single “Forever After All” impacted country radio last month.
