Luke Bryan is known for sporting tight jeans at his concerts and incorporating booty shakes into his performances, a move that dates back to the release of his 2011 hit “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).” Now, a pair of female country stars have chosen to integrate that song into some lyrics of their own.

Lauren Alaina and Lainey Wilson recently teamed up to duet on a song called “Thicc As Thieves.”

The uptempo, cheeky number features booty-centric lyrics that compliment Alaina and Wilson’s curves while they sing proudly about fitting snugly into their high-wasted jeans and bell bottoms. The tune also includes a sample of Bryan’s “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).”

“Hey, Lainey, what’d that Georgia boy say about us country girls?” Alaina asks which Wilson replies. “Didn’t he say somethin’ about shakin’ it?”

Country girl, shake it for me, girl / (Little right kick, left kick, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy) / Shake it for me, girl, shake it for me (Come on) / (Bell bottom, high rise, gimme, gimme, gimme),” Alaina and Wilson sing in the bridge before commenting about each other’s assets in the tail-end of the song, “Oh my gosh, Lainey / Look at your butt / How’d you get those bell bottoms yanked up? / Oh my Lord, Lauren / Look at that juicy peach / Did you have to jump in them britches?

Luke Bryan Reacts To Lauren Alaina And Lainey Wilson’s “Thicc As Thieves”

Since its release, Bryan has shared his opinion on the tune, saying he fully embraces the idea of turning his song into an anthem for women. And he gave Lauren Alaina the green light to put the song out into the world. Interestingly, Bryan is also a co-writer on “Thicc As Thieves” alongside Alaina, Rocky Block, Dallas Davidson, Jacob Durrett, and Parker Welling.

“I love it. I was very flattered,” Bryan told Taste of Country of the infectious collaboration while backstage at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Sunday night (June 11). “When you look at Lainey… I mean, I think Lainey is just so great for country music. And I’ve been a fan of Lauren Alaina. She has one of the best voices in the world.”

Reflecting on the early days of his smash hit, Bryan acknowledged Alaina and Wilson’s clever inclusion of the track, saying, “My biggest thing is, this is a fun song for them. ‘Country Girl (Shake It for Me)’ was a fun song, for me. It was a fun song for the country girls out there that were shaking it. And their song is a fun song for the girls that got a little somethin’ to shake.”

Lainey Wilson’s Butt Went Viral Earlier This Year

The release of “Thicc As Thieves” comes shortly after Wilson went viral for her backside after a video of her performing “Things a Man Oughta Know” surfaced on TikTok and received countless comments and reactions.

The latest duet offers another light-hearted response from Wilson, who has taken attention to her assets mildly and isn’t afraid to even crack jokes about her derrière.

“I think we’ve all seen the socials light up about Lainey,” Bryan shared. “I think country music will always be about the real songs, the relatable songs, the songs that stir your heart — but then there’s also gotta be a fun aspect of country music, too. That’s what’s so beautiful about when they can go for a song like that, and it can be the girls’ turn to say that stuff. It’s awesome. I’m very flattered to be a part of it.”
