Luke Bryan has led a pretty charmed life since his debut top single, “All My Friends Say.”
The country music superstar has sold millions of albums, scored five Entertainer of the Year trophies, and continues to sell out large arenas all over the world. And, it shows as he is one of the wealthiest country singer’s with a net worth of $160 million, according to ledgernote.com.
What Is Luke Bryan’s Net Worth?
Bryan’s celebrity is something that his sons, Thomas “Bo” Boyer Bryan, 15, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan, 13, have only come to realize in recent times now that they’ve gotten older. And the famous Georgian admits that the two boys, whom he shares with his wife of 16 years, Caroline Bryan, have gone down the rabbit hole of the internet to see their father’s list of achievements.
“I mean, they totally understand it now when they start Googling Dad’s accomplishments and reading all the chatter about what the net worth of all this is,” Bryan confirmed during a recent interview with PEOPLE.
Balancing Fame And Family
The 47-year-old chart-topper went on to say that he makes certain to raise his kids with a moderate approach to the glamorous lifestyle just because he is a star. He calls it somewhat of a balancing act.
“You have to sit down and really clarify a lot of stuff with them,” he shares. “Tate understands that Dad could probably make a call to a rollercoaster park and get some fast passes to get on the rollercoaster, but we send them on trips that they have to wait in line — it’s just balancing.”
Despite knowing that Bryan is a country music superstar, headlining tours and producing tons of hits, his kids still only think of him as “dad.”
“To them, I’m just Dad. I never will forget for Father’s Day, my 15-year-old son, he goes, ‘Happy Father’s Day, Dad, to the guy that has more fun than anybody.’ I loved that quote,” Bryan said. “…. When I get home, they don’t care. They don’t care if I’ve sold out ten shows or whatever. They just want to go hang with Dad and do boy and father-son dad stuff. And it’s special when we can all do it together.”
Spends Lots Of Time With His Wife and Kids
Luke Bryan has shared plenty of outings with his kids, posting photos on Instagram of him indulging in outdoor activities with the two, as well as nieces Jordan, 28, and Kris, 25, and nephew, Tildin, 21, who he and Caroline have supported following the unexpected deaths of Bryan’s sister Kelly and brother-in-law Lee.
Just a few days ago, the “Southern and Slow” singer uploaded a photo celebrating Tate’s 13th birthday.
“Happy 13th birthday to my fishing buddy. I love you, Tot. You are the sweetest kid on the planet,” he writes alongside a snapshot featuring the teenager holding up a fish.
Earlier this year, he showed off Bo’s catch after a day of fishing.
“Bo Bryan. Welcome to the 10-pound club,” Bryan wrote alongside the image.
Will Luke Bryan’s Kids Follow In His Footsteps?
While Bryan and his sons share a passion for the outdoors, they don’t necessarily show signs of following in their daddy’s footsteps when it comes to music. The American Idol judge does, however, share that nephew Til has taken an interest in playing the guitar.
“Bo and Tate, they’re not really into [music] right now, but when they come to me, and they’re like, ‘Dad, I really want to learn some music,’ I’ll take the time to sit down with them and have fun,” Bryan says. “But for the most part, I just want them to be their own identity. I want them to have their own differences and little paths, and I don’t want them to be in some monstrous shadow of me.”
“The main thing is just, we tried to raise [them with] respectful, gentlemanly manners, and we feel like they’re all of that. So when we get complimented on their manners and their politeness, we’re really proud about that,” he adds.
Country On Tour
Bryan has been on the road as part of his Country On Tour but has been forced to postpone many shows due to a summer “head cold.” Following a performance at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Bryan regretfully canceled a concert in Brandon, MS.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote, “Dear Brandon, MS, I am regretfully going to have to cancel my show there tonight. Under the doctor’s advisement, after taking 6 days off to heal, I attempted to sing at both shows Thursday and Saturday, and it was a struggle. Every show I sing I’m setting my voice back. I will continue to do everything I can to get better. Please know how much you mean to me and how heartbreaking this is to do. -Luke.”
He has since returned to the stage and is performing for sold-out crowds across the country.
Bryan’s tour, which launched on June 15, and features a slew of special guests, including Chayce Beckham, Tyler Braden, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean, Jon Langston, Conner Smith, Alana Springsteen, Hailey Whitters, and DJ Rock on select dates, runs through Oct. 28.
