Fast rising country star Tayler Holder’s brand-new single, “Time In This Truck,” will have fans cranking up their radio with the windows rolled down all summer long. Readers of Music Mayhem are getting the first taste of the uptempo track one day early with this exclusive premiere!

Written by Andy Sheridan, Ben Williams, and Josh Mirenda, “Time In This Truck” captures the feeling of experiencing love in the fast lane and wanting to make every minute with that special someone count. Putting a new spin on a truck song, Holder’s approach finds him wanting to take the girl out of the confines of a set of wheels and whisk her away to more adventurous places.

Girl, I don’t wanna waste time in this truck / Don’t wanna take the long way / I wanna use up that left lane on the highway, those side roads and shortcuts / ‘Til we run out of stars and the sky and the suns up / I hope there ain’t five-O out tonight / ‘Cause I’m about to run these towns red lights / Every second we’re in it those minutes are flyin’ by / Girl, I don’t wanna waste time / I don’t wanna waste time in this truck,” Tayler Holder sings throughout the chorus of the song, which was produced by Sheridan and co-produced by Williams.

“Time In This Truck” features a more arena-ready sound for Holder as it features an effervescent and bright melody coupled with high energy drums in contrast to his previous release, “Marry You” – a sentimental ballad and ode to someone he once knew on a romantic level.

Tayler Holder’s undeniable talent and charm shine through in “Time In This Truck,” solidifying his position as one of the hottest country newcomers. Get ready to embrace the warm summer breeze and embark on an unforgettable musical journey with Tayler Holder as his summer hit prepares to take country music by storm.

Holder’s newest track is also the first taste of what fans can expect from a set of songs planned for release from the Texas-born singer-songwriter soon.

“This song is actually going to be on my debut EP that will be dropping early this fall, and I can’t wait for everybody to hear it,” Holder shares. “Most importantly, I want everyone to hear the maturing in my music, vocals, and overall quality. This new music is better than my past releases in so many ways. I really want people to be able to listen to my music and relate on a personal level.”

“True Summer Vibe”

Of “Time In This Truck,” Holder, who is the most followed country music artist on TikTok, boasting over 20 million followers on the platform, shares that the tune’s vibe resulted in his motivation to record the track.

“I really wanted to add a record with a true summer vibe to my next project. A few days later, Ben Williams, one of the writers, sent me the song, and I immediately fell in love with it and knew I had to cut it,” Holder shares. “It’s everything I was praying for in a song to set the tone for the new music I have coming out, and I truly believe this is going to be something special.”

“I have plenty of new music coming out soon, along with live shows coming up, and I’m especially excited about going on tour with my buddy Dylan Scott this fall!” He adds.

Holder, with fellow country singer/songwriter Matt Schuster, will take the road on Dylan Scott’s 13-date This Town’s Been Too Good To Us Tour when it kicks off in Knoxville, Tennessee, on October 12. The trek concludes in Sayreville, New Jersey, on December 2.
