“Heaven Sent” is an extremely personal and timely song that dives into the idea of receiving a gift from the heavens above after suffering through a period of misfortune. Alaina wrote “Heaven Sent” alongside award-winning singer/songwriter and labelmate, Michael Hardy (HARDY), who she previously collaborated with on the chart-topping hit, “One Beer,” and Ben Johnson.

I woke up one morning with a different kind of tear in my eye / Out of the blue standing at the sink staring at two pretty little pink lines  / With all the hell that I’ve been through, something down here finally made sense  / My whole world, a little baby girl  / That my old man sitting up there in  / Heaven sent,” Alaina sings throughout the sentimental chorus of the track.
