Lauren Alaina welcomed her first child, daughter Beni Doll, in June of 2025, and the new mom has already taken her baby girl out on the road with her. In a new interview with Country Now, Alaina discussed bringing her daughter on tour, sharing that things “look different” than they used to.

“It is definitely different taking a baby along,” she said, adding, “We traded beer bottles and wine glasses for baby bottles and shakers for her, but I wouldn’t change anything about it. I love her so much. The pups go with us too. We just went out, this was our first trip where I took the pups and the baby, and we did it. It was actually really great. Everybody was happy. They do really well on the bus and Beni has slept like a champ on the bus too, so thank you, Jesus.”

Beni Doll got comfortable on the bus thanks to Alaina’s fellow country artist and parent, HARDY, who shared a hand-me-down from his and wife Caleigh Hardy’s daughter, Rosie Ryan, with Beni. “Rosie outgrew her bassinet before Beni did…they took it off their bus and gave it to us,” Alaina revealed. “So we have a hand-me-down bassinet for the babies, but it was so awesome to have them in my corner because I had no idea how to take a baby on the bus, and they told me all the things to do and Caleigh was wonderful.”

Along with Beni and her dogs, Alaina was joined by her mom on the road. It was a full circle moment for the singer, who started her career as a teenager after finishing in second place on Season 10 of American Idol. “My mom’s actually been traveling with me as well, so that is kind of cool,” she said. “My mom, obviously, when I started doing this, I was 16, so my mom went on the road with me, and it’s kind of been amazing to have my mom back out there. I’m like a little kid and I have a baby. I feel like it is just so sweet, but it’s definitely an adjustment.”

The 30-year-old Georgia native will be back on the road next year when she joins Rascal Flatts for their Life Is A Highway Tour. Alaina also joined the group on tour earlier in 2025, while she was still pregnant, and now that Beni is here, Alaina shared that the band’s frontman Gary LeVox checks on her “constantly.”

“We became best buds on that tour. He is hysterical. He is so funny,” Alaina said of LeVox. “I’m like, ‘I had no idea.’ I’ve known them forever, but to get to spend that much time with them repetitively was hilarious. So much fun. I’m really looking forward to going back out on the road with Rascal Flatts.”

During her break from the road, Alaina is working on her next album, and while she’s excited about her new music, the 30-year-old shared that she no longer feels the pressure that she once did, partly due to her daughter.

“The way I see my career and success has drastically changed in the last year even. Becoming a mother has changed everything about how I see my future,” she explained. “I first of all want to show her that you can be a mom and still follow your dreams and be a great mom and a great artist or whatever you want to be, but having her has taken a little bit of the pressure off and in a good way. I’m not going to work less hard and I don’t want this dream any less, but she is my purpose now. And so I think that that could free me up to even do better because I’ll have a little less anxiety about it all.”
