Koe Wetzel just announced his fifth studio album, 9 Lives.

For nearly a decade, Wetzel has been an artist that people can’t stop talking about, and he’s got this sort of magic about him, especially during his live shows. He is also known for blending country music with other genres to create his unique sound.

Wetzel is also known among his loyal fan base for having a wild side as the guy sure knows how to party, but now with the release of his new album, he is ready to show the world that there’s more to him than just the party animal they think they know. With this new album, fans will get to see all sides of Wetzel.

Showcases All Sides Of Himself With New Album

To announce the project on Monday (April 29), the 31-year-old hitmaker shared a 2 minute 29 second album trailer, introducing fans to the nine unique personas of Koe Wetzel.

Shares Details Of His Forthcoming New Album

Arriving on July 19 via Columbia Records, 9 Lives will feature 13 tracks, including previously released songs “Damn Near Normal,” “9 Lives (Black Cat)” and more.

The new album will be unlike anything Wetzel has ever released and is expected to showcase Wetzel’s versatility as a songwriter. From heartfelt ballads like “Sweet Dreams” and “Hatchet” to laid-back country tunes like “Casamigos” and his rendition of Keith Gattis’s “Reconsider,” alongside tracks like “Leigh” that unveil a profound vulnerability beneath their witty exterior, the album showcases a variety of songs as multifaceted as the artist himself.

“I want fans to know that there’s a different side of me, not just the sex, drugs, and rock & roll Koe that they may have heard about online,” Wetzel explained. “I’ve grown up a little bit. I’m no longer the 20-year-old kid that’s partying down and getting thrown in jail all the time. 9 Lives reveals a vulnerable side that people may not be used to hearing.”

The project will be available on all digital platforms as well as physically on Standard Black Cat Black Vinyl, D2C Exclusive Translucent Blue Colored Vinyl and Limited Edition D2C Exclusive Pyro Colored Vinyl. Fans can pre-order/pre-save the album now.
