Koe Wetzel just announced a massive 46-date stint, dubbed the Damn Near Normal World Tour.
Koe Wetzel Announces Massive World Tour
In honor of April Fools’ Day (April 1), the platinum-selling country rock sensation took a comical approach to announce the much-anticipated tour. To do so, he shared a clip of himself sitting down having a conversation with his videographer, who asked “[Are] you excited for tour this year man, What’s up?” to which Wetzel replied, “Nah, we’re not doing a f***ing tour this year. We’re doing the festivals and then that’s it.”
Wetzel then got up and said, “April Fools motherf***ers,” before walking out of the frame. The clip then unveiled the tour details and a full list of tour dates.
The Damn Near Normal World Tour is scheduled to kick off in Koe Wetzel’s home state of Texas on July 27 at Cynthia Woods Pavilion. The trek, visiting arenas and amphitheaters across the globe this summer, will visit 34 U.S. cities, including Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Boston, Nashville and more, with the stateside run culminating at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 13 before Wetzel heads overseas for 12 stops in the U.K., Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
“It’s been a fun winter in the studio working on new music, but we can’t wait to be back on the road getting rowdy with the fans,” Wetzel shared alongside the tour announcement before teasing forthcoming new album, “And who knows, we might even have some more new music to sing for y’all at these shows soon…”
Koe Wetzel’s Damn Near Normal World Tour will feature support from Treaty Oak Revival, Kolby Cooper, Pecos & The Rooftops, Tanner Usrey, Dylan Wheeler, Kat Hasty and Kolton Moore on select dates.

Trek Is Named After His Latest Release, “Damn Near Normal”
The tour takes its namesake from his latest single, “Damn Near Normal.” The track, which marks his first new song in nearly two years and follows 2022’s Hell Paso, offers a raw and honest look into the singer’s lifestyle and how he often struggles with finding a sense of normalcy.
Co-written by Wetzel alongside Gabe Simon, Amy Allen, Carrie Karpinen and artist Sam Harris, “Damn Near Normal” finds Wetzel reflecting on his non-traditional take on life, while realizing that it doesn’t always conform to what is commonly perceived as a “normal” lifestyle.
“‘Damn Near Normal’ is a song about this lifestyle that is anything but,” Wetzel reflected of the tune, released via Columbia Records. “Waking up somewhere new on the road every day, up playing music all hours of the night with our fans… this is a wild ride we’re on that looks totally different than most people’s ‘normal’… but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Koe Wetzel first announced “Damn Near Normal” on ‘Koe Wetzel Day’ at the Riot Room in Fort Worth, Texas. On February 28, the country outlaw was presented with a plaque for his single “Drunk Driving” achieving Platinum certification by the RIAA. The presentation was held on ‘Koe Wetzel Day’ in celebration of his song “February 28, 2016,” a track that is featured on his album, Noise Complaint.
Set To Perform At Several Major Festivals This Summer
Additionally, Koe Wetzel is schedule to perform at several major festivals this year, including Rock the Country, Tortuga, Cattle Country, Country Thunder, Country Jam, Watershed and more. He will also join Morgan Wallen on his One Night At A Time World Tour for a hometown stadium show in Arlington, Texas this July.
