Kenny Chesney secures his status as a country music icon after hitting 43 million RIAA certifications following the wild success of the singer’s Here And Now 2022 Tour where he played to 1.3 million fans across the country.

Chesney kicked off his tour back in April at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the outlet indicated. The show broke Chesney’s 2018 record with 58,369 fans in attendance. Besides Raymond James Stadium, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Ford Field in Detroit and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough all represented key markets where Chesney broke additional attendance records.

Chesney’s success on his Here And Now Tour placed him at No. 7 on Pollstar’s third quarter recap of ticket revenue. The tour included a 26-song set list and featured support from Old Dominion, Dan + Shay and Carly Pearce.

Due to the tour’s incredible achievements, it’s no surprise that the eight-time Entertainer of the Year has reached new thresholds with RIAA certifications. On top of his 2004 hit project When The Sun Goes Down earning 5x Platinum certification with 5,000,000 units and multiple week No.1 track “American Kids” surpassing 4x Platinum, Chesney accumulates 28 certifications for his dynamic catalogue.

As The Big Revival mines Platinum status, projects Hemmingway’s Whiskey and Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates have now officially become Double Platinum by selling more than 2,000,000 copies.

“When you try to live in the music, you just don’t stop and count the sales figures,” shared the East Tennessee-native. “All of these albums were made to share with No Shoes Nation, whether it’s us up on stage, someone listening to the radio or friends hanging out listening to the records. It blows my mind a little to think that all these records are hitting these thresholds, but it also thrills me because it means the people I make this music for are still finding their lives in these songs, especially the ones that weren’t ever singles.”

From Gold certified fan favorites “El Cerrito Place” and “Live A Little” to earlier career hits “Don’t Happen Twice” and “You Had Me From Hello,” Chesney boasts seven certified Gold songs. “You Had Me From Hello” earned Platinum status, as well as “How Forever Feels.” “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” secured Double Platinum status.

The superstar has two Triple Platinum certifications under his belt with “Somewhere With You” and Grammy-nominated duet with Grace Potter “You And Tequila.” In addition to “There Goes My Life,” “Don’t Blink” and “Summertime,” Chesney’s duet with P!nk — “Setting the World On Fire” — and collaboration with Uncle Kracker — “When The Sun Goes Down” — become two of his Double Platinum certified classics.

“It’s a pretty diverse catalogue, that’s for sure,” offered Chesney on his success. “But I think they all represent great songwriters at the peak of what they do. I’ve had some of the best writers in Nashville bring me their best and most interesting songs. I’ve been lucky to write some of them, too. But ultimately, we always cut what felt like it spoke to who I am and where we all were as one nation united by our love of this music.”

Additional Platinum singles from the hitmaker include “You Save Me,” “Anything But Mine,” “All The Pretty Girls,” “Save It For A Rainy Day,” “Never Wanted Nothing More” and “The Good Stuff.”
