Country singers Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans have reached a divorce settlement, according to a recent article from PEOPLE.

As per a court document obtained by the outlet, Ballerini and Evans have moved out of their Nashville home and listed it on the market using a “mutually agreed upon real estate agent.” The couple has also divided their furniture and other personal property.

Ballerini shared the news that she and Evans were splitting up after nearly five years of marriage back in late August.

“Friends, I’ve always tried my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold,” Ballerini wrote in a statement posted on her Instagram story. ”This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce.”

The “HEARTFIRST” singer described the decision as “deeply difficult” but said she was “grateful” for the time she spent married to Evans and “remains hopeful for the next seasons.”

While promoting her latest album SUBJECT TO CHANGE, Ballerini revealed that she and Evans’ divorce was not sudden.

“I think when there’s a big life decision like [divorce], it’s not a sudden one and there’s a lot that happens before that becomes public. So, I’m on my active healing journey and a big part of that is showing up for this album and showing up for myself like I never have,” Ballerini told Anthony Mason during an interview for CBS’ This Morning.

Though Evans hasn’t addressed the divorce as publicly, he did share a heart-wrenching new song inspired by his split with Ballerini during this year’s CMC ROCKS QLD festival in his native Australia back in September.

On the song, titled “Over For You,” Evans finds himself wondering how the relationship went wrong.

How long have you been waiting to take our pictures down / How long have you been breaking, why am I just finding out / I would have searched the world all over for you / Took a flight through the night to be that shoulder for you / I would have let go if you wanted me to / How many times did you say ‘I love you’ when it wasn’t true,” he sang.

Since debuting the song at the festival, Evans has released both the live and studio versions of “Over For You” on streaming platforms.

Ballerini met Evans in March 2016 when they co-hosted the CMC Awards together in Australia. Evans proposed nine months later on Christmas Day and the pair married on Dec. 2, 2017 in an intimate beachside ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Prior to announcing their split, Ballerini said she and Evans were in couples therapy. A source who claimed to be close to the pair reportedly told People they tried their best to make things work but eventually came to the decision to part ways.

“They’ve been working on their marriage for a very long time. Prior to this they had separated privately once before and have been in therapy for several years,” the source supposedly told the outlet. “They gave it their best go but unfortunately arrived at the decision to formally separate.”

The couple had a pre-nuptial agreement, according to People.
