Kelly Clarkson is “incredibly mind-blown” after receiving six Emmy-Award nominations.

On Tuesday, May 25, Clarkson shared a video to Twitter to thank fans on behalf of herself and her band/crew of The Kelly Clarkson Show for their six nods.

“Thank you so much, I’m incredibly mind-blown, i’m so excited for our staff and crew, our band. Everybody that is working on our show, and working so hard,” Clarkson gushed in the clip. “To be recognized by the Academy for it, thank you for all of the Emmy nominations. We were freaking out the first time around and now I can’t believe that it’s still happening. It’s awesome to do what you love and be apart of something you really believe in and people recognizing it. So, thank you so much, our band and crew and our whole staff, everybody is so appreciative.”

The Voice coach and singer went on to praise the television network that hosts her daytime talk show, NBC.

“NBC thank you so much for being such a freakin’ awesome partner, like I love working with you since The Voice, I started years ago,” Clarkson added. “And this is just another project that we’re all working on. It’s awesome to work with people  that believe in what you’re doing and to get the support. Thank you so much, life is amazing right now for all us. We’re very very happy and I just wanted to say thank you to everybody and to everybody watching and supporting, thank you so much!”

The Emmy-Award winning daytime talk show was nominated for six Emmy’s, including Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show, Original Song, Lighting Direction, Sound Mixing, Art Direction and the show’s host Clarkson.

Additionally, It was recently announced that Clarkson will be take over The Ellen Degeneres Show’s slot on daytime television.

Clarkson’s show, which is owned and produced by NBC will take over Degeneres’ slot in fall 2022 across all NBC stations.

NBCUniversal President Valari Staab shared that by 2022, “The Kelly Clarkson Show will be the star of our daytime entertainment schedules and an asset to our early afternoon newscasts.”
