Kelly Clarkson just wrapped up her Las Vegas residency, Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson, over the weekend, inviting two special guests to share the stage with her during one of her final performances at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater.

On Friday night, Clarkson was joined by her children, daughter River Rose, 9, and son Remington, 7. Both River Rose and Remington got a special moment on stage with their mom, who told the crowd that her kids had requested to be a part of the show.

7-Year-Old Son Danced To “Whole Lotta Woman”

Remington, or Remy B as his mom called him, joined Clarkson on stage to provide some dance moves to accompany her song “Whole Lotta Woman,” from Clarkson’s 2017 album Meaning of Life.

“He picked the coolest song for a dude to pick,” Clarkson told the crowd of Remington’s choice. “I was like, he is destined for greatness just for loving this song alone.”

After welcoming her son onto the stage, Clarkson asked him if he was “ready to dance.” He was like, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of people,’ and I was like, ‘No, we have dances all the time at our house,’” she shared. “We dance, we pull a disco ball out and we just dance.”

The two did just that as Clarkson sang “Whole Lotta Woman,” Remington showing off his moves as his mom belted out the song. “Give it up for Remy B!” the singer declared after the track was over before saying goodbye to her son.

Performed Duet With 9-Year-Old Daughter River

Next up was River Rose, who appears to have inherited her mom’s vocal talent. The 9-year-old chose to sing her mom’s 2015 hit “Heartbeat Song,” from the album Piece by Piece, which Clarkson admitted would probably make her emotional.

“Look, I did good not crying on the first one,” she told the audience. “I can’t promise this one. She’s been jamming to this song since she was a baby. She loves this song so much, so she was like, ‘Can I sing this song?’”

Though she appeared nervous at first, River Rose quickly got comfortable on stage thanks to her mom.

“I love you so much. You killed it at sound check!” Clarkson told her daughter. “Are you ready to sing ‘Heartbeat Song?’”

The two proceeded to deliver a heartwarming rendition of the uplifting song, facing each other as they sang with Clarkson frequently praising her daughter’s vocal stylings.

“Give it up for River Rose, everybody!” Clarkson said as the song finished, River Rose adding, “Thank you everyone!” Before River Rose left the stage, Clarkson told her daughter “You look gorgeous! You did amazing. I love you.”

Sweet Backstage Photo Before The Show

Ahead of the evening’s performance, Clarkson posted a photo of her smiling kids backstage on Instagram.

“Both of my kiddos backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas,” she wrote. “nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart.”

During the residency’s final show on Saturday, River Rose and Remington both joined Clarkson for “Heartbeat Song,” River Rose singing once again with Remington also given a microphone of his own.
