Kane Brown’s career has come full circle.

The “Like I Love Country Music” singer and Georgia native who launched himself into stardom by sharing covers of popular songs on Facebook is now covering hits from Garth Brooks, Ben E. King, and more while performing on his current Drunk or Dreaming Tour.

Kane Brown Sent Fans Into A Frenzy With His Garth Brooks’ Cover

Brown has sent his fans into a frenzy with the songs he’s been covering on stage. In one particular instance, the 29-year-old Country singer threw it back to the 1990s with Garth Brooks’ chart-topper, “Friends In Low Places.”

Brown shared a clip of the song to his Instagram account, writing, “A little Garth Brooks 🤷🏽‍♂️🔥.”

In the video, Brown, dressed in a dark-colored tank top and matching jeans, can be heard singing the iconic opening line of the song amid cheers from the fans in attendance. The crowd can also be heard joining in as Brown nails the first verse and chorus of the song.

Fans of Brown were quick to praise the country singer in the comments section of his post, with one writing, “Thinking we need a Kane and Garth duet!!!!!”

“LUV IT Garth will be proud,” another added.

“I don’t usually like anyone’s rendition of this song, but Garth’s…but man you killed it!!! Great job,” a third said.

“There is NOTHING that you CANT sing and sound great doing so,” a fourth commented.

Of course, Brown didn’t just nail Brooks’ hit song.

He Also Covered George Strait’s Iconic Hit “Check Yes Or No”

During an earlier stop on the tour, Brown sang George Strait’s “Check Yes Or No” and even brought a fan on stage to serenade her.

“This is my fiancé’s favorite song and was wishing Kane would sing it that night. And not only did he sing it, he brought her up on stage and sang it to her,” a fan wrote of the performance clip on YouTube.

Do you love me? Do you wanna be my friend? / And if you do / Well then don’t be afraid to take me by the hand / If you want to / I think this is how love goes / Check yes or no,” the country singer flawlessly delivered the song’s chorus.

Brown hasn’t just surprised fans with covers of popular Country songs on tour, however. The “Like I Love Country Music” singer has also performed songs from other genres. See a few more of Kane Brown’s covers below.

Brown Previously Teased A Covers Album

In addition to performing covers on stage, Brown previously teased a full length covers’ album.

While discussing his then-unreleased album Different Man with Billboard, the country singer said a covers’ album might be a future project.

“I’ve thought about that for this album, about putting several cover songs on it,” Brown explained to the outlet at the time. “I had like 20 or 25 cover songs that did well for me, so I think the smartest thing would be to just go back and cover those again. I know my fans have asked,” he said.

Drunk or Dreaming Tour

While fans may have to wait a little longer for Brown to drop a covers’ album, they don’t have to wait to see him on tour.

Fans can catch Brown performing his hit songs, including “Homesick,” “Heaven,” and more now through Jul. 9. Fans can also see Brown perform a handful of festival dates from Jul. 15 to Sep. 3.
