Justin Moore and Priscilla Block officially have the No. 1 song at Country radio with their “You, Me and Whiskey” collaboration.

On Sunday (Aug. 6), the country stars took to social media to commemorate the exciting milestone.

Justin Moore Praised Block And Celebrated Oceanside

Moore is celebrating the achievement with his family at the beach.

“First #1 that South man really gets to enjoy, knowing what it means. Happy to be able to celebrate #12 with my family, while on vacation,” Moore shared alongside vacation photos. “I can’t thank the fans and country radio enough for supporting this song.”

He went on to praise his duet partner Block.

“To have our 12th, and be a part of @priscillablock’s 1st, is incredibly special. I’ve told her this, but I almost feel like a proud older brother. PB has an incredible future ahead of her in this business. She’s super talented, and an awesome person. Those 2 things alone, will carry her far. I’m hopeful, she allows me to open for her in a few years. 😂 Congrats to PB, my team, and my label. Here’s to #13, and beyond. Much love. Thanks to all of you.”

Priscilla Block Was At A Loss For Words

Block was left speechless after earning his first-ever No. 1 hit.

“I’m just gonna leave this one right here,” Block wrote alongside a screenshot of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart.

“I’ll be back in a second when I can process this… WE HAVE THE NUMBER ONE SONG ON COUNTRY RADIO…” Block shared in a state of shock. Later adding, “crying right now… I don’t have a lot of words right now…”

Co-written Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill and Cole Taylor, “You, Me And Whiskey” marks Moore’s 12th career No. 1 and Block’s first-ever chart-topping hit.

Acoustic Rendition Of “You, Me And Whiskey”

The exciting news comes just days after the pair released an acoustic rendition of the track.

“You, Me And Whiskey” Music Video

Earlier this year, the pair of country hitmakers brought their single to life with a steamy clip that features a couple who seems to have lost the spark in their relationship. To reignite the romance, they crack open a bottle of whiskey and find themselves unable to keep their hands off of each other.

Visions of the beginning of their relationship flash across the screen as the man and woman make their way to the bedroom. They wind up tangled in the sheets together, proving that the fire between them still burns.

The storyline pairs perfectly with the intensity of the song and is intertwined with performance clips of Moore and Block.

The video was directed by Cody Villalobos, a member of Moore’s management team, who also directed Moore’s music videos for “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” and “Why We Drink.”

In a recent interview with Whiskey Riff, Villalobos shared how the music video came about.

“This video was actually pretty collaborative between us. Justin first came to me with the start of an idea that was fairly vague: He wanted the story to take place in a cabin, with a cold environment. That initial idea evolved between us back and forth for a few days into a fiery love story about a mid-thirties couple using whiskey to reignite their lost flame,” he shared.

As they continued to conceptualize the video, Villalobos said Moore requested to “push the sexiness further and further.”

“Him pushing me to make it hotter, coupled with the flashbacks, makes for a steamy visual that pairs nicely with a smash song,” he added.

Moore And Block Released The Duet In October of 2022

“You, Me, And Whiskey” was co-written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill, and Cole Taylor and produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta. The tune tells the story of a couple who is longing to feel like themselves again after constantly getting wrapped up in the daily “nine-to-five” of life.

After they realize they’ve been “burning it at both ends” for far too long, they decide to finally make time for themselves once again.

“It was you, me, and whiskey all night long / Sinkin’ to the bottom of them country songs / Fire burnin’ hot ‘til the last drop’s gone / Let’s turn it up, turn it up / ‘Til we take that black label buzz too far / And say them things that stay in the dark / Ain’t nothin’ as sweet / Ain’t nothin’ as strong / As you, me and whiskey all night long,” Moore and Block sing on the chorus of the duet.

The fan-favorite ballad, which has already amassed tens of millions of streams, marks both Justin Moore and Priscilla Block’s first duet at Country radio.

“This is my first single that’s a duet. I’ve done duets in the past throughout my career, but never had one as a single and that’s the first video I shot for a single in maybe three or four or five singles,” Moore shared during a livestream.

“You, Me, and Whiskey” follows Moore’s 11th No. 1 hit, “With A Woman You Love,” which topped the Country charts in September of 2022.

Moore’s New Album, Stray Dog

Additionally, Justin Moore’s seventh studio album, Stray Dog, arrived in May of 2023 and features eight standout tracks that includes two collaborations – “You Me And Whiskey” with Priscilla Block as well as “Everybody Get Along,” featuring Riley Green. The project follows the release of Moore’s 2021 album, Straight Outta The Country.

Moore is currently in the midst of a slew of headlining shows in addition to several festival appearances, including the Oregon State Fair, the New Mexico State Fair and the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo.

Block Released “Fake Names” And Is Currently On The Road

Meanwhile, Priscilla Block recently shared a brand-new song, “Fake Names,” a tune co-written by Block, Alysa Vanderheym, Summer Overstreet and Audra Mae. The song embraces the need for occasional escapism and urges everyone to let loose and let their inner “Blackout Brittney” have a night of fun on the town.

“When we wrote ‘Fake Names,’ it was just such a fun process. I mean, four girls in one room writing about letting loose with your girlfriends and having different identities for the night,” Block explained. “You know, you always have that one friend that drinks too much, or the girl that’s starting fights in the bar, or the one that might get arrested by the end of the night. It’s just a really fun song about going out and being someone totally different for the night.”

Priscilla Block is also performing headlining shows throughout the United States and is preparing to hit the road with Old Dominion on their No Bad Vibes Tour this fall.

Block and Moore will also embark on the final leg of The You, Me And Whiskey Tour later this year.

“Y’all asked for it! We added a couple more dates to The You Me And Whiskey Tour with @priscillablock this fall, as well as a few with @jonlangston 🥃 see y’all out there!” Moore shared, announcing new tour dates with Block and Jon Langston.
