Jordan Davis and his wife Kristen, who he married in March of 2017, are expecting their third child!
The country superstar took to social media on Thursday (Feb. 23) to share the exciting news that he and his wife are expecting with fans by putting a fun twist on the lyrics to his latest single, “Next Thing You Know.”
In the clip, which is soundtracked by his latest single, Davis rubs his wife’s baby bump, while singing, “‘Next Thing You Know’ you got a baby coming in June / acted out the words in no time soon.”
“She got knocked up. Baby number three coming,” he continued.
“Is that the way we’re saying it babe? You got knocked up,” he joked, to which his wife replied, “I think we can find a better way to say that.”
“We’re pregnant again,” Davis added before concluding the clip.
Jordan Davis also shares a three-year-old daughter, Eloise Larkin, and one-year-old son, Locklan Joseph, with his wife Kristen, who he’s been married to since March 2017.
The news comes just days after Jordan Davis’ new single “Next Thing You Know” made a major impact at Country radio with 72 first week adds, marking the biggest ad day of his career.
Co-written by Davis alongside Chase McGill, Greylan James and Josh Osborne, “Next Thing You Know” appears on Davis’ sophomore album, Bluebird Days.
Davis previously told us that his new single came together when James came up with the idea of a guy “walking into a bar and buying a girl a drink, asking her to dance. Next thing you’re falling in love.”
And while those days are in the past for Davis, he liked the idea and together they wrote his new single. “We (Josh Osborne, Chase McGill) started talking about how fast our kids are growing up. I have a three-year-old and feel like she was born yesterday and we kind of flipped it to that just how fast life goes,” Davis recalled. “I actually said, I think it’d be cool if we started this song at the beginning of the falling in love and we ended it at the inevitable, which is all of it for all of us.”
Bluebird Days includes his fifth chart-topping hit “What My World Spins Around” and the fan favorite hit “Money Isn’t Real,” “Tucson Too Late,” “No Time Soon, “Part Of It,” among others. The project also features “Buy Dirt,” the chart-topping duet that features Luke Bryan, as well as “Midnight Crisis,” a collaboration with Danielle Bradbery.
Jordan Davis is currently on the road with Thomas Rhett for the international leg of his Bring the Bar To You Tour and will soon head across the pond for C2C Festival.
